Visited this location because it was close and convenient to where I stayed. When I walked in I though I was in a night club because of the setting. No menus to see, girl walks up to attend and shares what they have. No pricing revealed until order is served. Music ok, could still hear the server. Not children friendly. The three of us shared fried chicken and shrimp and grits. Both entrees were good! The chicken had a good home cooked tasting batter on it l, spiced perfectly. The shrimp and grits were underwhelming. It was a good dish just not a winner in my book. I’m a huge fan of the dish! Trip’s version was kind of bland. Plain grits with all the goodies piled on top. Stopped in for lunch while visiting Tampa. The staff was all so nice and were attentive! I had the chicken salad melt on sourdough. I am a lover of chicken salad and get it anywhere I can! This was hands down the BEST I’ve had! I loved the grapes being in it and the candied pecans were incredible! The French fries were perfectly crispy too.
