I lived in Philly for a majority of my life. Just moved to Tampa a few years ago. Steve’s is my favorite in the city but I’ll say for Florida this is as close as you’ll get to a real cheesesteak. If you’re from Philly and in Tampa definitely check them out. Owner is from southwest philly and has a good crew with him down here.
Stopped into this location in Ybor city on Sunday 910, the most amazing cheesesteak sandwich I've had in 25 years! Immediately took me back to my trip to Philadelphia and this location is by far is the closest I've ever come to a Philadelphia hometown made cheesesteak. I challenge you to eat one by yourself, actually large enough for two unless you enjoy it as much as me and overindulged. I can't wait to be back it will be a long time customer !
