“We got there pretty early and we were probably the first customers. The place itself gives you a local normal restaurant vibes. The kind of place where you get good food but you don’t expect to be wowed.However, our food was amazing! I’m we got cheese steak omelette, egg Benedict and kids meal pancakes. We all loved our meals and could ask for a better breakfast. “Really fluffy waffles with perfectly crispy edges. I went with a create your own option where I got dark chocolate filling and a variety of fresh fruit, with coconut shavings. Everything was fresh and delicious. I accompanied the waffle with a cappuccino which came with a small sample of vanilla gelato in a tiny cone. The perfect compliment to the cuppucino and you don’t even need any additional sugar. Friendly staff, quiet and clean environment. Will definitely be back to try a savory waffle soon!“

“Just visited Happy Lemon for the first time and it was great! Ordered the puff waffle with original cream and it was so tasty and fresh. I will def be back and try some other combinations. I also had a taro shake I like that they ask the sweetness level - I got this 50% and it was perfect! We were the only ones in here so the service was quick we had our items about 5 mins after ordering! Location is small with only two tables inside but it's open and airy.“

“In our tour of breakfast spots, we came across this establishment. As a person who does not eat eggs, breakfast at restaurants is always challenging as it pertains to menu options. Frankly, I saw only two options on the menu that did not include eggs for breakfast. I went with the chicken and waffle. The chicken was delicious, and the waffle was fluffy and perfect. They offer a spicy honey syrup that is unique and tasty. I'd definitely visit again and try something from the lunch menu next.“
“We stopped in for dinner and had the best time! We walked into the tale end of Trivia night to a packed house. Our waitress told us to hang in for 10-15 minutes and she’d be able to seat us. This gal was the best, she took our drinks order (while we waited for a table), brought me napkins to mop off my sweaty self (I love her for that alone), and got us seated as soon as a table came available. Her sense of humor and friendliness made us enjoy the food more, if that’s even possible. And the food…the wings were amazing. We had mango-habenaro wings and garlic Parmesan wings, the BLT and let me tell you about the Guinness Tots! Crunchy tater tots with everything you’d find in a Shepherd’s pie (except the mashed potatoes) on top. They were the best thing we had eaten in a long time! We will definitely be back the next time we come to Ybor City.“

“Went there for lunch. I ordered the hamburger with hashbrowns and an egg over medium on my burger. My server was trinity. She was very professional cared about her customers and very attentive to her customers. The food was excellent. Burger cooked just right and the over medium egg was perfect. Definitely will come back. Both for the food and service“
