Our new favorite restaurant in Tavares for Japanese food. We've been there 3 times after our mani/pedi down at August Nails. Fantastic food. You get TONS of food. Plenty to take home.Vegetarian options: Their vegetables are so good. Cooked perfectly.
We absolutely loved eating at Japan Express. It was our first time there and with food allergies we are always cautious of where we eat. Our server (who may have been the owner?) went above and beyond to ensure our food was safe of our allergens, was attentive, constantly checking in on us, and she was super kind to our youngest. We went during lunch and our portions were very well served. So much so that we all had tons of left overs that we will enjoy for dinner! We love Japanese...read full review

Very good and reasonably priced lunch. All was fresh and tasty. The rolls are amazing and good lunch special — any two rolls, salad and soup for $13.95! Husband had chicken Habachi lunch and it came with noodles, fried rice, veggies, soup and salad. I ordered one of their rice bowls, which had fried rice and teriyaki chicken for $6.95. All very good and friendly service!
