I really loved this place — clean, fast and wonderful rolls. We just happened upon it by chance and I’m really glad we did. Staff is very nice too.

Very good and reasonably priced lunch. All was fresh and tasty. The rolls are amazing and good lunch special — any two rolls, salad and soup for $13.95! Husband had chicken Habachi lunch and it came with noodles, fried rice, veggies, soup and salad. I ordered one of their rice bowls, which had fried rice and teriyaki chicken for $6.95. All very good and friendly service!

Our new favorite restaurant in Tavares for Japanese food. We've been there 3 times after our mani/pedi down at August Nails. Fantastic food. You get TONS of food. Plenty to take home.Vegetarian options: Their vegetables are so good. Cooked perfectly.

We absolutely loved eating at Japan Express. It was our first time there and with food allergies we are always cautious of where we eat. Our server (who may have been the owner?) went above and beyond to ensure our food was safe of our allergens, was attentive, constantly checking in on us, and she was super kind to our youngest. We went during lunch and our portions were very well served. So much so that we all had tons of left overs that we will enjoy for dinner! We love Japanese Cuisine and Japan Express did not disappoint. I had their miso soup and Chicken Hibachi and everything was great tasting (not overly salty, it was just right). We will definitely be returning and can safely say we have found our Hibachi spot! (PS. The ginger sauce on their salad and their white sauce were yum!).Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my food allergies.Kid-friendliness: Our server was so kind and interacted with our youngest.

This is our favorite sushi place in the area. My husband and I were so surprised when we discovered it a few years ago. Super friendly service. Lots of great sushi roll options. Everything tastes great. Love the roll combo. Kids love it too. My preschoolers always love when we take them out for sushi.Kid-friendliness: Always super welcoming to our kids. They bring kid chopsticks for my preschoolers. They are also one of the few non-chain restaurants that has a changing table in the bathroom.

Food is good- a little heavy on the noodles and rice in the dinner special. Would have liked more vegetables. This was a to go order for clients so I didn’t eat there. Staff was very helpful when I called in with questions about order that was delivered by grub hub.

I didn’t come and order chicken to get a bunch of noodles and not even a whole piece of chicken!! The first time over a year ago I ate there was great so I went back about three months ago and barely got any chicken, I decided to give it one last try and again barely any chicken a bunch of rice and noodles which the rice is just white rice nothing else in it and the noodles are mushy and salty and let just say the vegetables has a ton of onions.. I will never eat here again until they get it together! I get food went up but your prices did too so the portion size should match the amount I spend on it!!
