“My husband and I went for dinner and loved it everything was delicious and fresh. We start with the stone crab chowder and the kaboom shrimp just perfect. The fried snapper feels like they just caught and cooked it, so good. Green beans and mashed potatoes were our favorite side dishes. Service was amazing and the place is small but gets busy quickly.“
“Not only is this our favorite restaurant because of the fresh seafood and food in general that they serve here but the convenience of having them on my way home from work. These folks also know service, I often order their food to go online but enjoy coming in and feeling the warmth of the people “
“After a long trip down rt 1 from capecoral fl was looking for something quick to eat ran into this joint and wow blown away. Fresh tasty everything made to order lots of passion and good company. Got the fish rueben and might be the best sandwich I ever had so I ordered a second one! It's a small little place with good company and amazing food will be back!!!“
“Absolutely delicious! The oysters are fantastic - fresh brine taste, perfectly chilled and served! The stone crab claws were also fantastic - priced right and delicious! The fish dip is phenomenal. The owner, Lola, provides top rate service! Go with her recommendations. She knows what she's talking about! Don't miss this gem!“
“Good breakfast - I had the Country Eggs Benedict, my wife had the Islander breakfast sandwich and my kids each had the Mickey Mouse pancake. I was bummed to find out that were charged an extra $5.50 to add whipped cream and chocolate chips to their Mickey Mouse pancakes though.“
“If not for staying here, would have never thought to come for dining. Husband was pleasantly surprised by a wonderful escargot, so delicious. We both had veal dishes and they were very tasty! Creme brulee on a dessert menu is the only time we order a dessert but this was not as good as we hoped for. On another night, we enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller, pizza, and martinis, all good. Bartenders Kaylie and Alex were great. Super experience, but would suggest a good clean up of the outdoor areas to make more inviting for a pricey restaurant.“
“Starting off i called in a reservation for 200, they said no, so we decided to show up as a group of 50. they forced us to sit on ugly boats, rundown trucks, and even the roof. there was a checkers table but not checkers! we had to play with woodchips! we found wood chips and mosquitoes in our drinks. we began our dining experience at noon and did not leave until 11 at night due to the inexperienced addidas soccer girl waitress. we had to brew our own beer, and i even went to the ocean to catch my shrimp because the cook was too slow. all 50 of us needed to use the bathroom but we got lost and ended up in the veterinarians next door. they accidentally neutered us!! we are still recovering and will never be able to expand our families due to this tragic experience. food was great! great service! they even brought me my food while i was getting neutered!“
“We were blown away with Square Grouper. Not only was the food the best meal we’ve had in the Keys but our server Rob was fantastic. He was extremely accommodating and was able to answer any questions about the menu with patience. We would 10/10 go back, recommend it to anyone, and ask for Rob!“
“Food was excellent, and the service pretty good. The atmosphere wasn’t what we were expecting- we thought there’d be a view but for lunch, you’re on an open air porch that’s on the canal and there is not a view. It does look like they have seating with the ocean view but it wasn’t open when we came.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly- they have a kids menu.“
“I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was. The staff worked together making sure we were happy. The food was fantastic. My go to choice for a seafood dinner is Mediterranean fish. It was the best I have ever had. My 2 dinner friends were equally pleased. The only negative is that I am from the Tampa area and it’s too far to be a frequent dining customer.“
“We brought our own snapper and they cooked it up blackened and with the Key Lime butter sauce. We all agreed, it is the best fish we have had in the Keys!!! It was unbelievable!!Then we had the Chicken Piccata and Key Lime Chicken and it was SO good!! Hobos has elevated to our favorite dinner place down here. The outdoors is very nice, plenty of food, staff was great!!The creamed spinach was also delicious, and the Key Lime pie!!! We can't wait to go back!!“
“My husband and I stopped in for a drink and a couple of apps and it was delicious. I wished we’d done there for a full meal. Watermelon salad was out of this world. Ceviche was delicious. Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers were also great and good for a lactose intolerant person because of the goat cheese stuffing. Great, friendly service.“
“My husband and I are from Destin, Florida, where I think the seafood is pretty dang good. It’s NOTHING compared to what we had tonight at the Fish House.SO GOOD. My snapper florentine was the best meal I’ve ever had. The potatoes and corn are perfectly cooked.THE COCONUT KEY LIME PIE?!? The best!Service was outstanding, as was how quickly everything came out.“
“This place was a spectacular find. Our best meal in the Keys. Daniella was fantastic and was helpful with recommendations. Food was outstanding as was the presentation. Sounds like this is a newer place so I recommend trying it asap before it becomes super popular...which it deserves.“
“Lovely experience!! Brought friends from Thailand on their 1st time to Key West and decided to drop here for breakfast. Right from the entrance to when we exited, we had the best hospitality and service. Plus, the breakfast was delicious.Surely recommend this place for those either staying around here or just passing by. You won’t regret it.“
“This is our new place at the keys. We went on Saturday, the place was packed we waited around 5 minunes and got seated, the food was delicious, the servers are amazing with a positive attitude and always smiling, the atmosphere is really nice. We took our friends again on Sunday and the service, the food and atmosphere was excellent. We found our new breakfast place to go, and the fiesta skillet has become the favorite dish amongst our party.Parking: There is plenty of parking spaces in the front and also in the back of the diner, but keep in mind that the place is usually packed (because is really good)“
“We had dinner here and it was amazing. We sat on the balcony and had a beautiful view of the water. It wasn't too loud and a good choice for our anniversary dinner. I had grouper for the first time and it was delicious. My husband got the skirt steak.Service was prompt and polite. We were warned that this is a busy restaurant so we went early. That is probably my only word of caution.“
“My partner and I planned an impromptu weekend trip to Islamorada and passed this place on the way to check in at our hotel. We stopped here for a bite and it did not disappoint! Firstly, the manager, Brian, was kind and accommodating. We were the first customers that morning and it didn’t technically open until 11 am, but he sat us anyway being that it was only 10 til 11. We chose a seat outside on the deck, and the view was absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Samantha, was super sweet, attentive, and accommodating. We were checked in on regularly to make sure all was well which was really nice. The drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the Wahoo Punch and Kiwi Seaweed Mojito. We also ordered the Lobster BLT and the Quesadilla Style Shrimp Tacos which were absolutely sensational! Plus the key lime pie is a ABSOLUTELY chef’s kiss ! We are so glad we found this place and will definitely visit anytime we are in town. Highly recommended!!!!“
“WOW. So grateful we found this spot. We will definitely be back when we come back to the Keys. The kids menu items are great portions for a 12 year old and the chicken quesadilla was stuffed with chicken. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal too. He had an ultimate burger and I had the best fish tacos everrr. The bathrooms were so clean, and I loved that the servers are all so kind and happy to be there. Highly recommended!“
“2nd time eating there. We decided to eat at the bar, just our thing. I have dietary restrictions and the bartender offered to ask the chef to change up my dish a bit to accommodate, and it was fantastic! It really stinks going out to restaurants and not being able to eat like everyone else, but they made it possible, thank you! Food was excellent, atmosphere is chill, service was excellent.“
“This place is amazing! If you like fresh seafood you need to come here the raw oysters were so fresh we also order conch ceviche and the portion was generous the lobster roll on point! We enjoy the atmosphere and fast service we decide to go back in the next day. We are coming back on our next trip to the keys.“
“We were here in April 2024. Definitely worth a visit! We had Seafood Fish Combo and Pasta Alfredo with Shrimp. Both were excellent, the best, tastiest meal in the last 14 days on our trip through Florida. Full recommendation. The location is also nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly.Parking: Right on main street US 1Wheelchair accessibility: Everything on ground level.“
“This is our 2nd time at Shrimp Shack and we had the same (great) server as last year. She has been there 4 years which says a lot about the place. Joe ordered the shrimp and gits which had too much sauce. I had the grouper picata with a side of broccoli which I dipped in the s&g sauce. That defeated the purpose of being healthy but hey, I am on vacation. My fish was good!“
“We have eaten here many times and it never disappoints. Last nite we both had the hog fish (prepped different ways) and started with a shrimp and lobster ceviche with just a touch of heat. We chased it with a blanc Chateauneuf-du-Pape. We book about 3 months in advance to make sure we can get in. We like to watch the sunset at Pierre's, which is right across the street, then walk over for dinner.“
“Delmonico, scallops, truffle lobster mac were all excellent! Great wine as well. Our family agreed that our only complaint would be the chairs. The chairs were really hard and uncomfortable. That being said, it's not a reason to miss this restaurant when you visit Key Largo.“
“Our go-to spot in the Florida Keys for fresh, local fish. Key Largo Fishers has it all: stone crabs, mahi-mahi, hogfish, superb fish dip, and cold beers. The atmosphere is just what you'd expect in the Keys, laid-back and friendly. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit for any seafood lover.“
“The Ribeye was sensational.Looking for somewhere close to the Reefhouse, and heard the live music just before sunset.Views were spectacular, atmosphere was amazing and relaxing. The steak was one of the best I’ve had in a long time and fries were great as well.“
“Very friendly atmosphere with good singer and dinner by the water. Great service and the waitress even spoke a little French. The food is good and homemade but nothing exceptional. The price, American style, average for this type of establishment.“
“Our group of 6 enjoyed our dinner here. Fresh seafood prepared via your choice of several different methods. Lots of variety in terms of appetizers and main dishes. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Kids menu with chicken fingers, ribs, bbq ribs, etc. A little cramped inside. Key lime pie was the best I’ve ever had (although my wife says she wouldn’t go that far). Highly recommend.“
“We came without any expectations, and not reading the reviews. The food was very good. This place is a gem.We orderedSeafood platter- the smoked fish dip was the winner.Coconut shrimp & Conch Fritters- had to get an individual order after tasting them in the platter.Lobster and Crab cakes- Cooked to perfection, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside with being cooked on the skillet.Nashville Chicken Tenders- If you have tried the Nashville tenders, then this is a must try. As close as you can get in terms of the consistency and the spice (ask for extra spicy).Clam Chowder Soup- right consistency, and good balanced flavors with enough clam meat (little rubbery).Aztec Mahi- very good flavor, but was a little salty.Sandwiches- We tried the Mahi Mahi sandwich as it was the catch of the day. Rightly seasoned, and blackened as it needs to be.Nashville Chicken Sandwich- If you are not a seafood person, then this will save you.Food- 4.6/5Ambience- 4.5/5Service- 4.6/5If you are on the way to Key-west and need to make a stop, you wouldn’t go wrong here.Parking: About 8-10 cars can fit.“
“We were reviewing a lot where to go to dinner if we visited the Keys. Within the recommendations we saw this place. The truth is we liked it a lot. Ample parking. A spectacular view. Places to walk. The service was very good, the food was exquisite. The price was very affordable. And the place was very full.People still prefer it because of the prices and the flavor. When you go to the Keys without a doubt you should stop by and enjoySuper recommended.“
“One of the best dining locations in Key Largo! Wonderful oceanfront seating when you can get it and the bar and inside dining are great as well. The food, well come hungry because they don't skimp! Love this place! Just go and you can thank me later!“
“I had such a memorable time here I didn’t even remember to take a photo or the delicious food or anything! I had the dish with key lime butter sauce and it was AMAZING my daughter ate her entire plate & she usually doesn’t eat fish! I was so impressed, the service was amazing and the sweet tea was amazing as well they have a big selection of drinks and wines and cocktails!“
“Great prices, right on the water, indoor and outdoor options, great food! Our group of 13 got food and drinks fast, and we were super impressed by all the food! Giant pretzel, tacos, carne bowl, steamed mussels, conch fritters - all fantastic. My part of the crew all had apps and dinners and after eating out all week the only place better was the Lazy Lobster, and that bill was double.“
“Came here for lunch. I have a gluten allergy which makes it really hard to find a place to eat in the south. It is also hard to find a restaurant that is willing to help me eat without getting sick. Our waitress Nicole was fantastic as well as the chef who was willing to cook my fish separate so I didn't get sick. The frozen cocktail I had was delicious. The grilled Mahi was perfect. If we ever make it back to Key Largo, we will come here for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Gluten“

“Well, this beautiful restaurant is what we have all been waiting for!! The location, food, staff, ambiance, is all top notch. We went opening weekend and the restaurant felt like it had been a well oiled machine for years, congratulations to all of the staff and especially the owner. You all should be very proud of what this spectacular place is going to be for many many years. The menu has been done to incorporate typical Keys ingredients in an elevated way that make them delicious. We had tuna nachos, fried pickles, conch puppies, and smoked fish dip..... All incredible!!. Service was on point, managers walking around and making sure patrons were happy, and everyone sure was! Beer was ice cold and top shelf liquor drinks perfect. We had Sandbar burger with beer cheese and whiskey onion rings and smash burgers with a comeback sauce that will make us Come Back! Oh and the view is something that is hard to describe. You have the view on the right of the bay and to the left is ocean, truly magical. Sunsets here are the most spectacular in all of the upper Keyes!“
“Fantastic brunch! The service was very attentive, and the ambiance was beautiful and scenic for an early meal. Have tables with direct view of the ocean, and beautiful firepit with cafe lights overhead. Went back daily i enjoyed it so much! Thank you to the wonderful staff!“
“Appetizers.... overcooked fried calamari..... truffle fries....a bit underwhelming....conch fritters were great. Cocktails... dissapointing. Meal. Poboy great.....only ate the shrimp filling ...the roll fell apart..... skipped dessert. Eat at your own risk.“
“After reading through descriptions of several options in the area, we took a chance on this place. We were looking for fresh seafood and waterfront dining and this restaurant checked both of those boxes. We weren’t sorry! Our food was delicious and the sunset view was icing on the cake! We visited during Spring Break and waited over 30 minutes for a table and another 30 minutes for our food, so plan accordingly.Kid-friendliness: Kids’ Menu Available“
“Ordered seafood from here many times, always fresh and well packed. First time eating at the restaurant, very impressive. Huge menu, nice location on the canal. Very busy place, but they kick the food out quickly. Wife and I got the Grouper Cheeks, soooo good, like the “tenderloin” of the sea! Highly recommend, if they have them on the menu. Also had a very well portioned Hogfish sandwich, perfectly prepared, not overcooked like some restaurants do. Beer could be colder, but hey, it’s the Keys, lol. Some items are a little pricey, but well worth it.“
“This place had great brisket. Also good Mac and cheese and collard greens. And to top it off, it was very affordable. Brisket, 2 sides, and corn bread was only $13! McDonald’s charges almost that for a quarter pounder meal and this is waaaaaaaaaaay better.Go here and get some barbecue!“
“A beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and a very swift service by the pool. The wings and the tuna nachos were a great appetizer before we fished off the pier. The make a really great margarita at the bar!Parking: Once you enter the resort facility, go to the left and there’s a gravel parking lot in which to park for the restaurant or for visitors.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family resort and has a restaurant at the pool with a bar and chairs with umbrellas to sit under. Bathrooms are located across from the bar to the right near the painted wall with the green eel and other colorful fish wall art.“
“Happen upon this place because it was closest to the beach. Blew my expectations. The pasta salad with the sweet vinaigrette stole the show. The grilled chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection. And the key lime pie desert was a local treasure with a twist of dark chocolate. Amazing food. The service was amazing and quick and location is set in a cozy little corner right by the Founders Park. Highly recommend!“
“Chef Rico will give you the Cook Your Catch experience of your life. Amazingly talented, he took our fish and turned it into a 5-star meal!! Far beyond expectations, seriously just absolutely incredible and a lovely experience. If you're fishing in Islamorada, do yourself a favor and bring your catch to Chef Rico at ReelCatch.“
“Food was AMAZING!!!!!!! We were seated immediately, our waitress was great! The bread- the salad- the meal were all so good we did not have room for dessert!! We all brought home left overs and we all ate them again the next day because everything was so delicious!! Would absolutely eat there again!! You will not be disappointed here!!!“
“Had a blast here. Probably drank a case of red stripe with my buddy while watching the sun fade and enjoying some seared ahi, fish tacos, scallops and shrimp. The atmosphere and live music was great and the bar had a fun atmosphere. You can tell this is the spot for industry workers after other places start to close down. A good time all around. And a quick walk from several nearby hotels.“
“Went to Kaiyo last night while working nearby. The Tuna Nachos were awesome!I had the Coco Loco and it was delicious. Lots of folks there and it took 20 minutes to get some more water after the bottle was taken away but overall a great place. A premium place with a Premium price.“
“Found this gem of a place and what a great find! We had 1 of the best times in the keys and had a great time with live music and the bartender Tara was so funny and really made the visit incredible,we only went in for a drink but stayed for the night,we had raw oysters and the biggest shrimp and the best fish dip we ever had!!Thanks for a wonderful time!!!“
“This place was definitely worth coming to! The guy who was working explained the menu to us before ordering, very personable & helpful. The crab cake roll was delicious with so many flavors! The calamari was the best calamari i’ve had, fresh & lightly breaded. Would highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Has a large outside area with secluded seating.“
