We had the Cuban and buffalo chicken flatbread both far exceeded our expectations. Living in tampa, Cubans are often hit or miss and this was in our top 3 the prices makes it top 2. We don’t drink and it seems it’s usually judged a bit but our server was so lovely about it, didn’t try to sell things we would not go for. We did end up ordering some of his recommendations. The one dish we keep on repeat when we go is the Spanish Octopus, it is absolutely outstanding, the octopus is tender and flavorful. Last night we added the Mushroom truffle pizza, Chicken Marsala, and Scottish salmon. Every single dish was so deliciously perfect. Lastly, desert we had Mango gelato. I am sorry I do not remember the name of our server so I can sing more praises to him because it was a truly lovely mother, daughter’s evening and he was on point, allowing us to enjoy our time together..The only note I have which I almost don’t want to mention but my mom was a little bothered by the music last night. I would have also accepted an accomodation like a discount or a drink but they didn't offer anything like that. I want to be fair here that there is also a hamachi crudo dish on the tasting menu that they did offer me a delicious deviled egg alternative which was absolutely fantastic, so I didn't go completely unaccomodated, but it was still frustrating to have let them know weeks in advance, and confirmed at the door, and still been excluded from a course.“
