So far I have tried the steak burrito and chicken burrito and both were better than any burritos I've had in Arizona. Giovanni was very friendly and quick and clean in his kitchen. A small family run operation with authentic flavors. Nice seating outdoors with other food trucks. I will definitely be back. Thank you!“

“I mean, its Guthrie's so if you are from the South you know...if you aren't, well in my humble opinion these are the best of the best when it comes to chicken strips (yes even better than Cane's which is a close second) Staff is always friends here and ontop of their work. Didn’t realize that Chicago’s very own Portillo’s had made its way to Tampa, but sure enough it now planted roots in another Florida hotspot (there are two in Orlando). Ok, on to the review. Being a native of the City of Wind, I look for the food that reminds me of home every time I visit a city that has a Portillo’s. I actually believe everything on the menu, that I’ve had, is good! From the Hot dogs, to the Maxwell Street Polish, to the Chili Cheese Dogs (my go to!!), to the Cheesy Italian Beef on Croissant (decadent and delightful!!!!) to the spicy chicken sandwich (ask for the brioche bun - you’ll thank me later) to my new favs, the salads!!! All are good but it’s something about that chopped salad tho!!!!!! This day, I had a cheesy Italian beef on croissant and added Italian sausage (order as the “combo” as that is how it’s loaded into the computer - saves time from then having to call a manager over as in non Chicago locations, folks don’t order that apparently - I always do). I added grilled onion, mayo and sweet peppers on the side. I also got fries and cheese dipping sauce and a large Diet Coke of course. I also ended lunch with a slice of their famous (and sinfully delicious) Chocolate cake - the most consistently moist cake I’ve ever had across the chain. They really do a great job with it! You’ve got to try it at least once, trust me!! All in all, great place, great service and of course great food!! When I’m back in Tampa, Portillo’s is a must visit!“

“The burgers were amazing! The street burger was so complex with flavors. Sweet and savory. The covid burger's sauce tasted like a smoked white sauce. Yummy for fries. The fries were good. Nothing to write hone about. I forgot to mention the service was fast. Huge burgers out and to you within 10 mins. No restroom is one downside. Sending customers to 7 11 and having them come back with beverages could cost them. But I will definitely come again.“

“So on our last night in Tampa, we settled on getting “Pino” food. Now both of us being “Pino’s” we are selective about where we get take out or sit down food. You know how picky Filipinos can be. ? Located in a tiny strip mall, the shop looks unassuming. Once you walk through the door, it’s like you walked into a shop on the island. The smells and the decor took me back to my dad’s birthplace in Dagupan. The place was packed and with a huge smile, a lady said “I’ll be right with you!”. My sister exclaimed, this place is the real deal.After trying to decide on what we wanted, which was everything on the menu, we narrowed it down to lechon kawali, sisig, and the usual suspects….pork adobo, pansit lumpia and rice. I wanted to order the Bangus and bbq sticks but my sister was like, “bro….thats enough”. HahahaNow, if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the place. There’s no turu-turo here. Lechon, sisig and lumpia were cooked to order. And for the other dishes, they only make so much daily so if you get there late, they may not have what you want. As was the case for the pansit palabok, they were out.As we waited, we talked with other customers and they raved about the food and the service. Then we talked with the owners daughter, Lena…the lady who greeted us upon entering and she filled us in about the family and business history. Wow, what a story.We got our order, said our goodbyes and eagerly awaited the joys we would discover when we got home. After getting to my son’s house, we dished up the food and man, the smells and the sights were amazing. You could tell each dish was made with love and attention. After sitting down and digging in, all I could do is smile and do a happy dance in my chair. The flavors were on point. The lechon was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy inside. The Sisig was off the hook, well balanced with spice and tartness…this was my favorite! The lumpia were not the frozen, premade factory ones either. These were the real deal, fresh made and fried perfectly. The adobo made you think of your mom’s adobo and lastly, the pansit was perfect cooked and seasoned perfectly. Not over loaded with veggies or Chinese sausage either, just right.Masarap!All I can say is, Mata’s is legit Pino food. “Wow! The food was great- all of it. My sea bass was moist and well seasoned and in a super hot little mini square cast iron skillet-too cute. My mashed potatoes were well seasoned and HOT and with lots of flavor. The asparagus was ok, but still yummy. I also had a small cup of clam chowder that was well great tasting. Service with Andrew was great. He was attos d informative since this was our first time here. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Ambiance is nothing to write home about. Mostly booths with a few tables and chairs located towards the bar area. There is a bar with sitting. I recommend trying MB Grill and as far as I am concerned reasonable in cost for the delicious meal.“

We started at PF Changs but it took too long to get seated and the prices were airport "gotcha" prices. The line at Wendy's was manageable. Leo (who was probably the manager) was very nice. I don't eat meat so I had the chicken wrap with the chicken on the side. The employees added lettuce, tomato & pickle. I drizzled ranch on the wrap. Yum. The drinks are refillable. That is wonderful when you are stuck in an airport and don't know the layout of stores & restaurants. Wendy's is in the main terminal, near Phoebe, the giant Flamingo.“

My car randomly stopped working across the street and I was trying to get food for my kids during our lengthy wait. Things weren’t going according to plan and it was a bit stressful. I couldn’t get my app to work (likely user error in my messy head state) and Trey just jumped right in. He offered to use my phone number and applied my reward. That alone made my afternoon. Then the tow truck came while I was waiting for my food. They needed my keys so I had to leave immediately. They brought me the food! I was in tears. They didn’t have to do that. “This is not a place to sit and eat it's actually a food truck where you have to order through an app. The server was really nice and helpful (I didn't get his name, but he had dreads) he helped us as we had no idea of how to order because the QR code they had was not working, we ordered thought Uber eats as a pick up. “This Charleys location is absolutely wonderful. Since my wife and I frequent that Walmart we have went to this location on average once a week since it opened, and haven't had a single bad experience. The closest was that I tried a new cheese stake that didn't agree with my body and it ended up making me nauseous, so I told the person I recognized as the boss, and stressed that I just wanted to let him know so the problem could be looked into. He ended up giving me a free cheese stake for my trouble. The food itself, while pricey, is amazing. Their wings are big, flavorful, and meaty. There have been cheese stakes I didn't like, but that is always a risk you take when you try something new. The cooks have never, not even once given me the wrong order. As far as atmosphere goes it does feel like you are in a little restaurant that is inside a walmart, but they can't really be blamed for the reality of it.Wheelchair accessibility: It is flat ground, and I am sure if you need help with moving a chair someone would happily lend a hand.“

“I love the vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. That is my go to reason to visit the drive through which for the most part there is hardly a wait. The service is fast. I have never dined in. The only improvement would be for the employees to wear those disposable gloves when handling food for the public. Is that no longer required at fast food joints?“
