We also got birria tacos, a shrimp taco, and a al pastor. Al pastor is my favorite when it has pineapples. It was so so so good. Had a good selection of jaritos and Mexican coke. They have a small inside eating are which I think is genius. Inside is the sauce bar. Thier hot sauces are hot so be careful. This place has 5 stars for a reason. “Pepitos is my families go to spot. When you walk into the resturant your always greeted with a smile and get seated fast. The service is always fast and professional. I am pretty sure we have had every server at this resturant and the service is always the same. The food is always prepared well, the margaritas are some of the best in town. “This is a taco truck in the parking lot of Beach Weekend pontoon rental located on hwy98 across from Captain D's.I like trying "new to me" authentic dishes. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos. Very good beef and trimmings along with the stew is amazing! I got the spicy salsa and wow! I still want to try the hot as well though just to try its flavor.Please visit this truck, you will not be disappointed! Very friendly staff, accepts cash or card. I believe this is my go to and no more than two blocks from the hacienda! I definitely tip my sombrero to the family recipe and the cook that makes it happen. Well done!!“

“While visiting I try to always eat local and stay away from chain restaurants. This place is amazing. We ate inside but you can drive thru the building place your food and beer order. The burrito with beef and shrimp was very flavorful. I do feel they were stuffed just a bit too much because they exploded out the other end and I ended up eating it all with a fork because I couldn't get my mouth around it all and very messy. That being said because it was so good will definitely recommend and return. We stoped on a Thursday for lunch and they remained steady with business even after 1. Staff was very friendly.“

“Went there for lunch on a whim. We’ve always struggled to find decent Mexican food around this town (we have high expectations since growing up in CA). The food here was excellent. Everything tasted great, they even offered us complimentary wine. 2 for 1 margs were well worth it and the service was great. One of the very few Mexican places in the area I will return to.“

We ordered the mixed ceviche for an appetizer (it’s not on the appetizer list, and came out promptly). The chips were fresh and the ceviche was beautiful,delicious, and the portion was generous. I order the grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas. They crisped the corn tortillas up on the grill (a plus) and our food was hot when it came out. My husband ordered the whole grilled fish, and a tamale on the side. The fish was outstanding and the tamale was moist. I do recommend this place. 15Jul23, ordered there dish called Los Socials which continues to be their best dish of a variety in each bite! This breaks away from 1 note dinners! I now ask for grilled veggies instead of rice and beans.6MAR24 I requested a Hauraches with Carnitas which are a traditional Mexican dish made from a thick oblong-shaped masa base topped with refried beans, meat, cheese, and salsa. the dish with foil is the picture of it. You will not find this in a typical rice/bean mexican dish; this is the whole dish- I call it the mexican pizza.“

“What’s nice about this restaurant, is it’s not a chain. It’s family owned and the food has flavor and authentic. The salsa is made in house, and as a result the peppers vary. So we never know what to expect, which is nice. We had the vegetarian fajitas and tacos. Both well priced and the fajitas come with plenty of toppings on the side. Their house margaritas are always 2 for 1. Karen & Doran were great services, they stay in contact refreshed or drinks and chips as needed. Jonathan was our server and did a great job checking in on us throughout our meal. We will be adding this establishment into our local rotation. “Was staying at the Holiday inn and they provide a 10 percent discount if you show your room key there. They had 2 for 1 draft beers and they were very big. I also got the Pollo Loco, the portion size was very good and the chips & salsa/queso were very good. Very fair priced and the service was quick.“
