“Staff was so great. They had a 50 person bus show up without much notice just before we arrived. They did so well working together to accommodate. We hardly had to wait and the food was perfect. I want to give a shout out to their dedication and effort to provide the best service possible even with all the complaining and the Karens of the large party trying to tear down the waitress efforts. Thank you guys. Not everyone are ungrateful. 5 star performance. ?“
“We were visiting the Venice area for the first time, looked up Mexican food and read the reviews for Tomatillas. We visited on 12-1-23 early afternoon and much to our surprise they were very busy. We ate in and our food was excellent! We both had the Junkyard Bowl. What made this place excellent was the staff! We asked if they were the owners because they both were working so hard and fast. They laughed when asked, but shared their names, Krystal and Ryan. We were quite impressed with their high work ethic and how personable they were with us and others who ate in and the drive thru. They made recommendations as we made our choices, put items on the side, Gave us 2 kinds of salsa to try. Basically bent over backwards to please. Try the Corn Salsa!
