If I could give zero stars, I would. The waitresses that work here are rude, almost unbearable. Glass had lipstick on it. They brought out the wrong order. Avoid this place at all costs. It does have a nice view but you can get it somewhere else.

In the Kimpton - great bar and restaurant set up. Can be seated inside or outside, on the ocean. Place is terrific! We had a great meal and evening here...Parking: Use the valet

I have a question for the owners of Cobalt. Do you think that you are the French Laundry or Per Se? How can you justify your prices? Presentation is what? Minimalist? And the greeting staff. We arrived early for our reservation and were told we had to wait for a table. There was only one other table with people on it and all the rest were empty! They wouldn't seat us until our reservation time. The food - wagyu beef was far from tender and was served medium when we asked for medium rare. This is for a postage stamp sized cut. The creamed spinach was over salted. Swordfish was cooked ok but was also over salted. Cobalt used to have a dress code but no longer - the taco place down the street has better standards. Not going here again until the place has new ownership and new staff - very disappointed.

I Love Cobalt! We were celebrating my birthday, 5 people. The food was fantastic as always, Here comes the BUT. The service was awful. The servers totally mixed up the food delivery. Some of the food was cold. Breakfast food is not good cold. They actually totally forgot my order. 10 minutes after everyone received their food I had to find someone to let them know. When it finally arrived It wasn’t Salmon. They blamed the entire debacle on being slammed, although there still were plenty of empty tables. This entire incident is totally not like Cobalt. Maybe just my bad luck on my otherwise happy birthday. I still love Cobalt and definitely will return. I’m betting the next time will be great again!

Wonderful atmosphere- with more potential. However, after two recent visits (both in season and out), the service and food quality have been extremely poor. They are obviously under-staffed, but for the prices, that is no excuse. We will not be going back.

Service was slow Food was average at best . we were given the wrong drink. Hasseled about the gift certificate that was given to us. Only positive was the ambience. Over priced for the Drinks Food and Service

You can't beat the location. It's just too bad that the service, while friendly, was mediocre and the food doesn't live up to expectations given the very high prices.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Beautiful waterfront dining. Angelica, our server was excellent. She was responsive and personable. The calamari was excellent. Our mains were good but ala carte - salmon and ribeye. The sides were underwhelming. Brussels were overly charred. Creamed spinach wasn’t steak house creamy with cheese wheel as server described. We saw a Space X launch from our seats on the patio. Very cool!

Upon seating us for lunch the server said ‘just so you know we're really busy today so we're going to get food out to you soon' which seemed odd since why would that need to be remarked upon? My fish tacos were ok, my fries were cold. My dad's sandwich wasn't a true club— no ham and turkey stacked and cut in four. My stepmom's salad was really bare and the dressing was gross (who puts vinaigrette in a chef salad?!!). Very average overall. We were surprised as this place is usually much better.
