“The branch in Melbourne is PHENOMENAL! I stopped to have soup one day thinking it would be mediocre soup but because I really needed authentic homemade nourishing soup I just bit the bullet and took the chance. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER JAMAICAN RESTAURANT IN THIS AREA! Their portions are very good for the dollar value (I actually get what I think I my money is worth!) and the quality is just what my taste ? buds desire. Such restaurant at Minton and Malabar ? was my once upon a time favorite but they took all my money and gave me a box full of rice. I’m rather pleased with my newfound LOVE! And today I ordered steam fish and for the first time I even ate the EYES and drank the gravy as soup! YES SIRRR I did what I said I did. I hope they keep it up because I do not like a misbehaving Jamaican restaurant. It’s very hard to find good Jamaican food I tell yah! This definitely hits the spot.Btw. The roach that the one customer who gave you the one star for: just jerk him for me please. I’ll eat him too! Cook every creature and call me ? ? “One of the most authentic Jamaican restaurants in the area, definitely a hidden gem that’s worth every dollar spent. I had the oxtail with rice, cornbread and cabbage and the oxtail melted right off the bone and was infused with all the expected flavors. Definitely a must have again when I’m in the area.“
