“The gentleman at the counter was extremely inviting and friendly, discussing our options with us since we aren't from around here. I haven't had a nice tender lamb shank in a long time, so I went with that. Absolutely zero regrets. It was tender and fell off the bone with barely any effort. The flavour was incredible, and I love the rice and onions that accompanied it. The pita and tzatziki were also good. After my date arrived we were promptly seated and, although we lingered over our dinner, the host was very gracious and polite. “An explosion of great flavors in every bite. Fresh and delicious food, with very pleasant and quick service. Generous portions, and lots of options on the menu. The atmosphere is decidedly casual, and well traveled, but you're there for three food, and it's definitely worth a trip! I had a traditional Gyro, and it came with a mound of meat, tasty sauce, and fresh veggies on a puffy pita. My wife had Shawarma, which also had fantastic flavors and was a huge serving of food. “The food at Al Sham Palace is almost as good as home cooked Mediterranean food, the grape leaves, the falafel , the kofta and the shawerma ( beef ) and chicken were to die for, The Tabouleh was the best as well. “Green Land Restaurant is excellent in preparing barbecue. Orders include mixed grill, meat kebab, chicken shish, meat awsal... What I liked most was the meat awsal, it was very tender. We ordered hummus shawarma with meat. The best hummus you will get, the sessions are many and wide, but I did not like the smell of the place mixed with detergents and smoke.“

“Have been wanting to rey it for a while. I was very happy withthe Gyro, the meat portion was perfect. Usually Gyro places do not put as much meat inside anymore. The Tzatziki sauce needs a little more lemon/garlic favor. But I was pretty happy with my gyro. Service was fast. Would come back.“
