They don't always get the orders right the first or second time, but they are easy to ask for help, never experienced rude employees and the food is consistently good.“

Food was delicious (our first roasted corn on the cob was wayyy overcooked, but they addressed this quickly with a replacement).Our server was obviously very busy (local prom night), but still ensured we were not waiting at an empty table. Within minutes of seating, our drinks were delivered, and our appetizers very shortly after. Just as we were finishing our appetizers (20-30 minutes), the main course was delivered. During this point, our server noticed our drinks were getting about 1/2 empty and asked if we would like another.The drinks didn't have that weird flat fizz you get from most places, that was pretty great too.Parking: Easy to access parking from the main road with more than ample spacing for vehicles. Multiple routes out, preventing parking lot congestion.“
“I always got their burrito bowl with shrimp, chips, and fried oreos. they first forgot my Oreos on one order. another time they forgot some ingredients in my mom’s bowl (which was a pretty salty). they even once forgot my guac. on the other hand, I believe eating here or take out is better than delivery“

Tijuana Flats falls into an interesting category of not fast food and not sit down. In 1995, Brian Wheeler—at the time, just a taco-loving college student—borrowed some money from his dad to open the first Tijuana Flats in Winter Park, Florida. It has since grown to 123 locations in four states, three of them in the Melbourne area. In addition to their quick casual food, they have a large assortment of fun hot sauces of varying intensities you can sample at the hot sauce bar. Find one you can’t live without? You can purchase one or more bottles to bring home some heat and spice up your life. Jovi is our food facilitator, and she is wonderfully charming and helpful. If you are tired of burgers and want some exciting great tasting food, I’d advise you to try the following: Garlic Lime Shrimp Bowl with well-seasoned sauteed shrimp, cilantro lime rice (cooked correctly), black beans, poblano peppers and onions, corn salsa, garlic lime sauce, guac, queso fresco, cilantro cabbage and pickled red onions. A truly delightful offering. Cheesy Steak Flautas, two lightly fried tortillas with marinated steak, fajita pepper and onions, garlic lime sauce and cheese. “First time here! Everything was so awesome! I had the Chicken Club Quesadilla, and added olives and Chipotle ranch dressing. It was so good! I love that all meals come with chips and the salsa bar. Service was quick and staff was working super hard and fast making orders, as well as keeping up with sweeping and wiping tables off in the dining area. Really impressed overall. Great first experience and I will be back!“
