Haven't been to Tropics in years. Out of town friends asked me to meet up there for happy hour. We had a great time. A fun & friendly crowd was there. I'll definitely return.

Food is good. Service needs improvement but very friendly. Room eas full and only 2 waiters which were also bartenders. Extremely understaffed. Live entertainment is very goodKid-friendliness: This is mainly a resturant for senior adults that enjoy live music from years ago. Kids probably would prefer a different atmosphere but entertainment is G or PG, not adult rated

The food is good! The waiters are great, but the management needs a lot of work. We made reservations for 8 PM we had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes to be seated which was OK, When we got a table, the table was falling apart, The top was about to tip over, when told them about it, they said “well push it against the wall”, I requested a new table, there were a couple of open tables, which had reservation signs on them, but nobody was sitting on them.
