“Went here back in May 2023Went in after seeing a meal someone else had ordered and I decided to feast on the gyro bowl ($12), which comes with seasoned rice, tomatoes, sliced red onions, and lettuce. The bowl was a large serving with puffy rice, which I did not notice any seasoning on it, while the lettuce was a bit yellowish, the serving of the gyro meat plus the diced tomato and slice onions made up for. It was all good and filling. Service was friendly and quick.“
“My favorite place to get food every time I am in Orlando! Enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Mexican Camel. Their unique Mexican Mediterranean fusion menu offers delicious, well-prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. The build your own bowls and burritos are my go to. The premade options are also a great choice if you don’t want to build your own. The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and great service. Definitely recommend for a tasty and different dining experience.“

“Kosher Grill is an absolute gem of an Israeli restaurant, and I cannot sing its praises enough. Let's start with the hummus – it's simply out of this world. It's so delectable that you could eat it with a spoon and still be left craving more. The texture and consistency are perfectly balanced, as all things should be. The Shawarma is the best dish this restaurant has to offer. The meat is incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, and can be paired with a wide array of toppings that they're more than happy to accommodate. The falafel and hummus combination is like a culinary yin-yang; the falafel tastes like it was just freshly made in the kitchen, and when paired with their heavenly hummus, it's an explosion of flavors that will leave you speechless. This is the closest you can get to authentic middle eastern food without having to fly to the Middle East. If you're a fan of authentic Israeli cuisine done to perfection, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable dining experience. Make sure you call in advance to see if they still have shawarma, as (unsurprisingly) it tends to run out fast by 7pm on a weekday. Can’t wait to have that hummus again! Service is average.“
“Great service from Theo and the group. Not sure who ended up being our last server but he was great as well!! We ordered the dessert wheel for my bday and they brought me a flute of red juice? It was sweet but tasty and I asked if it had alcohol (I don’t really drink) and the server said it was non-alcoholic because he noticed I ordered a Diet Coke and not alcohol. That’s attention to detail! He did offer me champagne after that but like I said, I’m not a drinker.“
“My boyfriend is from Greece, so we had to check this place out. The food was delicious. We got the hummus, greens, lemon chicken, and crunchy zucchini. A tie between the chicken and zucchini for the best taste. They also have a belly dancer and throw napkins up in the air. Great food and entertainment. Service was great, but gave 4 stars because our water was empty for a while. We had to snag her to get a refill. You have to pay for parking in the garage, but the walk isn't far. Park on the 3rd floor and take the bridge over.Parking: Park on the 3rd floor of the garage and walk over. It wasn't busy when we went, but I bet it can be.“
“I wrote this review 5 star review 5 years ago..."Love this place. Explosion of flavor every time". I definitely wouldn't say this now. The last few times I've gotten my favorite chicken shawarma platter, it has been a major disappointment. Forget explosion of flavor, now there is no flavor. What happened? This was always my go to for garlic and spice and it's just bland now. And its price has increased quite a bit (although that's probably due to rising food costs everywhere). Please bring back the flavor and the old Habibi. I miss it!!“
“We stopped in while in the area before our cruise, Daood was very nice and the food was delicious. My other half is Lebanese so they were able to connect and talk in Arabic. Love the restaurant and the store they have next door! Stop in and give it a try, you’ll love it!“
“Wow what a great find. Very clean near Eastern restaurant that is run with great pride by all that work there. Chef came out to speak with us and to answer any question about the food or preparation. Very nice young man that is from Palestine. Food was plentiful and delicious. I'm a big fan of fried chicken liver and their offerings included onion and green peppers delicious! Very reasonably priced. Only knock is no beer or wine. Recommended!“
“My husband and I were looking for a nice breakfast and looking to get out of the theme park sort of stuff. We found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did. We were in Orlando all week and this was, by far, our favorite breakfast. We met the owner and it is very clear that he takes great pride in his restaurant and in his food. I would highly recommend stopping by if you get the chance.“
“Freshly prepared food items and a bar serving a wide variety of frozen drinks, beers and mixers. Dining wise, this beats Bayliner Diner, which premakes most of its food. For the same price, a cheese pizza at Atomic Tonic is made to order and larger in size.“

“This was such a hidden gem that we stumbled upon. Every single bite we took was followed by a “omg, you have to try this!” The flavors and textures were mind blowing and so unexpected. The server (maybe owner) was incredibly nice and timely. Truly, I am so glad we happened upon Zaman.“
“The manager cares a lot about the success of this Little Greek Fresh Grill location. He took time to personally call me to apologize for the poor experience we had and invited us to come back with courtesy meals to try them again and look for improvements. So thank you Carlos, for your time and for your eagerness to make things better. We stopped in on August 15th to try this Windermere location again. We did not order the same meals as the first time, so I cannot attest to if the steak has gotten better or not. However, we ordered the Gyro Platter and the Light Fare Chicken Skewers with rice which both came with small Greek salads. Additionally, we ordered the Dolmades (grape leaves) and Baklava. We were greeted when we came in the door, our orders were taken once the employee located our name on the list for courtesy meals, and our orders were ready within 15 minutes. Service was much better and everything we ordered was delicious. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to come back and try your restaurant out again and had a much better experience this time. The staff did a much better job, and the food was much more enjoyable. We will be back in again now that we know your staff is working harder to get it right and that the food was prepared with more care.“
“This place is awesome! Beautiful decor, friendly staff, and fantastic food! Went here with my wife for dinner and drinks last Friday. It has a huge indoor AND outdoor dining area. I highly recommend the tuna tataki. It was tied with the best I've ever had from The Charthouse! No fat marbling at all and melted in your mouth. Later in the evening, the place was hopping with live music. Everyone was having a blast and so much fun! We highly MYlounge recommend and will be back soon!“
“We were in Orlando for Megacon this weekend and arrived pretty late in the evening. We decided to walk from our Hotel to a restaurant at the end of the block. As we passed by the steakhouse to our left, our noses started to tingle. My partner and I decided to "follow our noses" instead of going to the originally planned Restaurant.As we approached Halal Food Express, we started to taste the food in the back of our throats before we entered. The smell of the genuine Gyro meat made out mouths water.We entered and ordered two Gyro's (one with out tomatoes!). I usually do not like to eat out, especially when I have a hotel to go too. However, the atmosphere was peaceful so we sat and ate. I spoke to the Gentleman behind the counter (the owner I believe) and asked him about the sign on his wall.He explained what it meant to me, which put the paintings on the wall into perspective. I promised the Gentleman that we would try our best to get back there before we left town. Sadly, things did not turn out the way we wished, and I was unable to return.The food was amazing (I don't write reviews, I believe this is my first one actually), so good I'm writing this. The staff was even better. Having a very stressful day end with good company, great atmosphere, and amazing food, was the perfect start to a chaotic trip.Since this is rarely brought up, I will say that we did not finish all of our food. So, naturally, we brought it back to the hotel to eat the next day. My partner ran off to do the con thing with some friends so I heated mine up and consumed it far quicker than I thought I would. After I ate mine, I reheated hers and hate hers as well (I DID get into trouble for that =) ). To me, food needs to be good at the reheat as well, and these Gyro's were by far the best fresh ones we've ever ate, and almost as important as that, it was as if it was just made on the reheat.Next years con, we've already made the plan to stop by at least once to have another two Gyro's. Highly looking forward to returning!p.s. Ask about the writing on the wall!“
“Food: I would give the food 3.75 stars, there was more to be desired. Since this restaurant's claim is for authentic Italian food, my hopes were high. The sauce was very scarce with the seafood pasta and it was a little too 'al dente'. It was good, but I do think there is better Italian in the area. Would go back - going to try the pizza next time. Cocktails and mocktails were fantastic. Service: Service was good. Very polite and attentive. We had two servers which was interesting. Ambiance/ Atmosphere: Loved the decor and vibe in the restaurant. They had a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Would be a good place to go for drinks and an appetizer.“
