“The rolls were really tasty, I'd even say delightfully delicious. My wife and I often enjoy sushi and rolls. I would definitely come back to this place. However, we live in Miami and just stopped by for lunch on the way. There's a huge parking lot. The dining area is clean, with plenty of space. The service is friendly and fast. We really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.“
“Best Chinese food in the area as far as my wife and I are concerned. Some of the dishes here have the traditional Chinese menu name but seem to be flavored differently for the better. Also, dine-in happy hour sushi from 4 pm to 7 pm everyday is the best.“
“I've eaten here half a dozen times, at least. The atmosphere is always great. The food is quite good. And the service is usually decent. The teppan experience is similar to other restaurants of this type. Nothing special to write home about, but consistently good food and respectable showmanship. They have a broad selection of standard rolls and more creative sushi flare, as well as a good selection from the regular kitchen menu. They also have several unique drinks with an Asian vibe - the lychee martini is my personal favorite. My only minor complaint is that the kitchen is not terribly consistent with their plate timing. For sushi, I can understand, as it comes from a different set of chefs. But the last couple times we've eaten here, we've received main courses before appetizers and salads. And the bar often gets backed up, as well, resulting in significant wait times for alcoholic drinks. But all in all, I'd still say it's well worth the experience and the price.Dietary restrictions: My mother in law is gluten free, and they had no issue accommodating her requests.Parking: It's located on the edge of a roundabout, so has limited parking immediately adjacent to the building. But there are a lot of spots available within easy walking distance.Kid-friendliness: Happy to accommodate children, and have kid specific menu selections.“
“Hidden gem 14-course omakase for $100 ($65 for 10-course)! My wife and I were blown away over how fresh and delicious everything was. Chef David and another chef (sorry we didn’t get his name) meticulously handcrafts each delicious bite of heaven that will deliver a rush of endorphins to your brain. They are warm, friendly, attentive and explain the place of origin for each piece of sushi. Only opened a year and a half ago, Norigami has received a coveted Bib Gourmand award from the Michelin Guide. There are only 8-seats in this sushi bar only restaurant in the Plant Street Market, so be sure to make reservations well in advance of your planned date. They do not have a liquor license (yet), which means you can BYOB. It takes a lot of work, expertise and love to deliver such an enjoyable meal. We will be coming back every time we visit Orlando! Thank you Chef David!Parking: Plan for extra time to locate parking if there are events going on. We were there during St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Chef David was so kind and attentive to call me they day before our reservation to forewarn us.“
