“Cool biker bar with an outside venue. Fun place to stop while out riding. Lots of bikers frequent this place. Never ate much, so I can't comment on that, but it's definitely a fun bar for bikers to stop off and have a cold one. Catch a band on the outside stage.”

“This is absolutely a hidden little gem. We fell upon this little spot tonight and felt like we walked into a family members home. It is a cozy lil spot, unpretentious and homey. My buffalo chicken salad was delicious, fresh and flavorful. We will return without a doubt. We met some lovely locals that engaged us in conversation and we left feeling so happy! The owner is a doll! If you decide to go here, bring her a little birdhouse as she collects them and they are all over the restaurant This is our new spot for lunch and dinners!”

“We stop at Smokin' Joe's BBQ nearly every time we kayak on the Peace River out of Paynes Creek State Park. Their food is ALWAYS delish! We had beef brisket sandwich platters and the shredded brisket was moist and out of this world! I didn't even need sauce. Their coleslaw was grated and slightly sweetened - just the way we like it. It's a no frills, homey joint with the BEST food kind of in the middle of nowhere. They smoke their own meats right on property, so it's ALWAYS fresh. Joe's won't disappoint.”

“The food here is fabulous. Huge portions. Only 1 complaint. My husband had hot tea and he asked for another cup of hot water. He planned on using his first tea bag. When the bill came we got charged $2.50 for the second cup of hot water. After inquiring about the charge we were told they charge for the second cup of hot water. I never heard of this before. Since I had to pay for the water, I asked for the tea bag. Other refills were free. Not happy but the food was delicious.”

At least twice the pizza was cold because the waitstaff was busy chatting in the front lobby while it sat. All the food was good, but service was not attentive.”

“It's a hole in the wall, family type place. The outside of the building looks like a motel office. It's next door to Alan Jay car dealership on the Left, up on a hill.Service was excellent. Lots of locals keeps this place hopping. Good food for a great price. Not too over the top in price. Their biscuits are big, so good and fresh. “I can’t give it a bad rating but I did have a bad experience. Went through the drive through today at 2:30 and the restaurant didn’t seem busy. I ordered 3 meals l, one with chicken fries and 2 large onion rings. ALL of my food was accounted for and fresh but I had asked for BBQ sauce and Zesty which was forgotten. No biggie, I parked/went inside to ask for the sauces and the young man (manager?) told me that they charge for sauces. He was smirking so I thought he was kidding around and I said “you’re playing right” and he said I he sauce was for chicken nuggets only. I explained that I had just came from the drive through and what I had purchased but this was so annoying and honestly made me not want to go back. I’m not a huge fan of fast food anyway so when I get it, it’s for the urgency, therefore the encounter today was frustrating.”
