This place has really gone down hill the last couple months. Overcooked or under seasoned fries, overcooked boneless wings, wings with little to NO sauce. This has been the experiences we've had the last few visits. Zaxby’s is not a cheap fast food option so the low quality food just doesn’t sit right with me. Not to mention the drive thru is SLOW. I’m telling you a 20+ minute wait for some chicken and fries! It’s just disappointing because Adel is already limited with the food options… if we got a Chick-fil-A this place would go out of business! Take a look at the attached photos… I’m convinced they microwaved some old wings because they had a *touch* of sauce but were so dry! I wish I had a picture of the last time I got boneless wings… they looked shriveled up and were so over cooked I felt like I was chewing on rubber.The one positive thing I can say is the employees are usually well mannered, from my experiences.

The worst of the worst! This place is absolutely filthy and disgusting! Watched employee drop wings covered in sauce onto the tray from a plate and then proceeded to put them back on and wipe the tray off. Manager is as rude to customers as employees, and now even though they print survey promos on their own receipts they do not accept them. The place was absolutely packed so I don't fault the 30 plus minutes we had to wait for food, but the nickel-and-diming for every little thing and then watching an employee give free drinks and sauces to other customers is pretty comical. Be sure to stay away from this filthy disgusting zaxby's!

This is the second time we have tried to eat here in Adel in a 3 months period. We will not be back. The food is so bitter. I told the manager today. She just said ohhh. I asked them if they dumped quinine in the oil. Needless to say she didn't have any idea what that was. Thank goodness we have stray cats that will probably be hungry.

The drink machine was out of most of the more popular (coke, sprite, lemonade,etc.) options. The bathroom was a mess. They called us for our dine in order, but still packed it to go.
