“Love this place but continue to be astonished by how the bartenders all seem bothered by your presence... all of them. We were there yesterday and it wasn't even busy - no smiles, no how can I help you, etc. It was a bother to get us drinks, etc. I don't get it. Great place other than that.... good live music, decent food and love the changing food truck concept.“
“Went to Whit’s today with extended family here in Georgia, while visiting from Kansas. What a wonderful experience with delicious treats! Each of us chose a different option from the extensive menu. As for me, I went straight for the “Whitser of the Month” (see foto). I figured the protein in the peanut butter would be an excellent complement to the carbs in the cookie dough and M&Ms. Great choice and I recommend it without reservation.“
“I thought it was fantastic and one of the best lunches I've had in a while. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I got the Peruvian stirfry chicken and it was just so so so good. The vegetables themselves had been cooked nice and soft but had a slight little crunch left to them. There were french fries mixed into the dish. There was good quality chicken that was tender and juicy and to pull it all together was the stir fry sauce. It was an absolutely phenomenal stirfry sauce. It was pretty unique. I never had it before. It was savory and a little thick but it had a touch of acid and sweetness in there too. It perfectly coated everything and I thought it was fantastic. We had great drinks as well and there's a lot here that is very authentic Peruvian and I heard that the owner actually makes several trips to Peru each year to stay in touch with the culture. It really shows through what they are able to offer. If I could offer any complaint at all, it would probably be that the prices are a bit higher than most when a lot of the lunch entrees are $20. It's somewhat of a hesitation but I certainly think for how good and unique it is I would come back. Last note I would like to make is on the server because he was one of the best I've ever seen. I don't know if they have problems with staffing or if this guy just has it covered but he was hostess, cashier, bartender, food runner, and server to the entire restaurant. That's right. Only one person was running the entire front of house while we were here. The restaurant got almost full. They had 11 tables and two people at the bar and this guy didn't miss a beat. Every time we were ready to order something he was there and everything came out very timely too. He was in constant movement but always on top of everything. I mean each table had a good experience because of him and whatever money he earns it probably isn't enough.“
“I hired this food truck for Employee Appreciate Day and I'm so glad I did. This duo was extremely timely (super early at that!), very professional and beyond accommodating. The food was fresh, quickly served and very tasty. Would highly recommend Uptown Food Truck to any team or event searching for savory, American cuisine.“
“Whoa! OMG! For the Love of GOD... These Tacos are really good! We just worked Doja Cat The Scarlet Tour here in Atlanta. Here it is 1:30am and my brother and I was about to head home to get something to eat. I forgot the Crew had catered lunch waiting in the back of State Farm Arena. My plate had the BBQ Tacos with cilantro lime rice with black eyed peas in them. That was great. I'm literally looking at my brother like"What you got". He had the Blackened Fish tacos with that same tasty rice. His eyes bucked big and I heard him say "uuuummmm". You know it's good at this point. I leaned over to get a sample of my brother plate and it was empty. Gone! Done! Finshed! I recommend and will find where to dine whenever I'm in Norcross.“
“My wife and I just tried this food truck out and it does not disappoint. The lobster and shrimp empanadas are absolutely amazing and the Caribbean j*** pulled pork wrap is the only way I want my pulled pork now. 100 stars if that was an option.“
“This place right here is unique. Never been to a place that specializes in "egg rolls". But that's exactly what they do. My wife and I stopped by here for lunch and while I was disappointed they were out of salmon for my initial choice, I settled on the chicken Philly option and it was very delicious. My wife's Island Boyz egg roll was awesome too. They came with option of fries and fried rice. Both sides were great. There also was this sauce that came with the meals and while IDK really what it was, I enjoyed it too. We didn't order any but this place also has full service bar. We left very impressed and they didn't kill our pockets which is another plus. Definitely recommend this place.“
