This cute little coffee shop makes for a great study spot with unique blends of coffee for nerds, office workers, and students alike. I got the coffee shot with a lighter roast that, as a coffee nerd myself, was very delicious! The fruited and floral notes were expressed well, and I would definitely give this place another try. “My granddaughter and I were visiting Atlanta at the same time. She chose Flatlands for lunch. We had a blast. There were two women about to leave. We struck up a conversation and they suggested a few items from the menu. One of which was the Pair Martini. When I say it was the bomb dot com. I so mean that and the fried goat cheese, crab dip, and fried seafood platter. We pigged Out. Thank you Flatlands for your hospitality and also the two women who suggested the pair martini. “Wow! That was surprisingly delicious. One of our best finds in a long time. The Pabellón Criollo Venezolano tasted like ropa vieja. Honeslty, I might not have noticed it wasn't if I wasn't told. The meat portion was not very big, but with the rice, beans, and maduros, it was filling. The Cachapa Con Carne Mechada maize mixture is very sweet. So good though. We split both. The waitress came back to find us fighting over the last few pieces. Negotiations became fierce. How much pabellón is a fair trade for the last piece of cachapa is still not settled.“

“Frank, THANKS! We live nearby and have been here several times in the past and it was always great. This time was exceptional because it was our anniversary and I brought in roses impromptu and asked the gentleman who was working the front counter, Frank, if I called him back a little bit later if he would please set them out at a table to surprise my better half. He said sure, no problem! We came back about an hour and a half later and placed an order and then set down to the roses to her surprise. In regard to food and drink, we had the Westerner croissant which has scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, and an absolutely phenomenal pico de gallo recipe. Huge portion and the best thing we've had here so far and hands down now our favorite breakfast sandwich. Also had a vanilla latte and it was just hot enough that you had to sip it but it did not scold your mouth. The music is also wonderful and is classic rock and an eclectic blend. Couple all of that with the great atmosphere and decor, great prices, and top quality food and coffees, and this place cannot be beat for any coffee shop / breakfast eatery. Our visit was on a Friday at 9:15a and the place was busy but still plenty of seating and prompt service. Our waitress Judy was perfectly attentive and knowledgeable of menu questions. If you order coffee you have a small pitcher on your table as needed!!. The jam they serve is a mix of 3 fruits and you can purchase small or large jars to take home. All kinds of omelets, avocado toast selections, egga to order and plenty of pancakes to choose from. If you like bacon, its a must order. Great place to meet eat! “Excellent! I’m pregnant. For some reason, I hate most food. Nothing tastes good, I’m not happy with any food except for desserts…and I want a small handful of really specific things. Sometimes, I don’t even know what those things are until I see them. One thing that I dream about and want most of the time, is the perfect sandwich. And my perfect sandwich is always made with focaccia bread, filled with prosciutto, arugula, burrata, and pesto. Unfortunately, it’s so hard to find this perfect sandwich, made the right way with the right ingredients. But I found it here at Il Bottegone!I was on a work trip, and I’m so glad that I found this place. It was one of the best panini, my day was definitely made. I ate the whole thing and wanted more!
