“I've lived in Miami and Key West, suffice it to say, I know good Cuban food. This place is legit. As good a Cuban sandwich as any i've ever had. Oxtails, Cuban chicken stew, black beans, plaintains, sweet and fried, literally everything I've tried has been perfect and portions are large and very fairly priced. Love this place!!”

“Gladys’ Kitchen is a staple in the community, synonymous with Southern hospitality and comfort food—and they did not miss! From the moment we walked in, it felt like visiting your favorite aunt’s house on a Sunday after church. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was well-seasoned, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The dressing was a tad dry but still flavorful. The collard greens may have been cooked with pork, which I don’t eat, so I didn’t have them—but I did taste them. They were finely cut, well-seasoned, and definitely not from a can. As I was leaving, I was asked about my experience, and I later realized I was speaking with Ms. Gladys herself. She was sitting in the lobby, observing and ensuring that everyone had a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place for both the food and the hospitality. This feels like “down home” ♥️”

“I am from Tennessee and I visit Americus, GA very often for business. Anytime I am there I get their Butter Pecan coffee every morning and buy a bag to take home. My favorite thing about Horne Pecan Company is that there is always a Bible verse hand written on every coffee I buy. This alone makes it worth every penny! Thank you all so much for the awesome customer service I receive every time I walk in the door! We love you guys and wish you many, many years of business in Americus! Eighteen in our party! The staff were great. The food was awesome. It is a fish house but they serve other foods. I went with the Texas BLT and I was not disappointed.
