I'm so happy Preacher Green's opened while we were visiting Athens! We had a group, so we were able to try many things on the lunch menu, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing - light and crispy and delicious. My wife loved the salmon BLT. The beet and goat cheese salad looked incredible and tasted even better (somehow for under $10). A must try local place. High end comfort food is how I’d describe it. Try everything they have. My family ate there and we each ordered different mains and sides to try lots of items and all of it was legit and I’ll be going back. Portions were quite large. Nice to eat good whole food prepared super well for a price that works. Wine and beer prices noticeably reasonable too so don’t neglect that part of your meal.
