Saw this place on IG Went for Sunday brunch. We arrived at 12 when they opened it was obvious they were not ready. The waitress did her best despite them not having a cook, other tables walked out. The food was ok I had fish and grits, there was no gravy on the grits as describe instead they were dry and spread on the plate. Disappointed to say the least.

There were problems from the very moment we walked in. We had a large party and asked to be seated together. Despite the fact that it was 3:00 p.m. and there was no one there, we were ushered all the way back almost out of the building. After much discussion, they were finally persuaded to let us relocate. Now that we're finally seated, we began to order drinks, but we're told that almost everything we want to drink is not available. They feature frozen drinks, but only three of the flavors were working. We were then told that certain menu items were not available either. That was the last straw!We decided that instead of rewarding bad service and bad attitudes, we would take our $1,000 + 20% gratuity to a different establishment. We went right down the street to Virgil's Gullah Kitchen and had a wonderful meal together.

I visited Blu Seafood House on Saturday around 4pm. The food was overpriced and disgusting! I will never eat here again and suggest you save your money. If you are looking for ambience only then I would say that is ok. We started with calamari which did not taste fresh at all. I ordered crab legs which was drowned in Old Bay seasoning. They give you the fake popcorn butter instead of real melted butter. I asked for real butter and was told that’s all they have. My daughter ordered the crab claws and fried rice. She asked for fried claws and they brought out steamed. The fried rice had no flavor and tasted like boiled minute rice with scrambled eggs and onions. The server suggested pouring the Asian chili sauce on it to make it taste better but that was a fail. $145 waste of money and not only that my car was broken into in the parking deck! It was a pretty day weather wise but I should’ve stayed at home.

Omg this was the worst experience ever!!!!! We came in and there was kids all over the place it had to be over 20 of them. Then people were coming in with baby strollers and toddlers it’s now 10:30 p.m. why is there kids here????? Everyone got their food expect me mind you i was the first to order. By the time i got my food everyone was done eating and ready to go. They put my food in a to go tray and everything was extremely salty. I just left it on the table. The waitress sucked she couldn’t keep up with our order. She had no idea what who got mind you it took her over 20 mins to get everyone order. Because she was making sure she knew what she was doing turns out she didn’t! My people didn’t even get cups because they ran out of cups and I not has one dishwasher. Drinks came out slow, a couple of my guest was waiting on simple drinks like sprite smh. EPIC FAIL they got their sprite once they were already done eating. Then they want us to pay 18% gratuity lol man please take that off service don’t even deserve that.

It was 3 of us service was very slow. Staff was nice and friendly. I ordered the crab cake it was tasty and all crab no fillers(excellent). Then I ordered the catfish and shrimp tasty and a good amount. PM ordered the calamari she stated it was very good then she ordered the lamb chops with spinach she said it was very good the lamb chops looked a little thin (I was thinking the lamb was on a diet). WT ordered the salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes she stated it was really good. The power went out we was still able to get and eat our food but none of the slushy drinks was available because of the power outage. I would come back again
I will never come here again. The bartender had an attitude from the moment we sat down. I ordered raw oysters and Rockefeller oysters because this is a “seafood restaurant”. They gave me Frank’s red hot for my oysters. I had to ask for water each time I received it. My Rockefeller oysters had sprinkle cheese on them. Manager and bartender had a very it is what it is attitude. Do not recommend AT ALL.

I saw this restaurant on a reality show and I said to myself, next time I'm in Atlanta I will try it out.I finally got a chance to eat here and the food and drinks were awesome.
My friend and I have been going to this place since they opened. For a while, everything was great; food, service, drinks, atmosphere. I don't know if they owner sold the place or something, because lately, it has been going downhill, especially the service. On my last visit, the waitress forgot my order, and only brought out the sides. When I asked about my meal, she claim I didn't order the meal and was like ready to argue. Then, she placed an order for just the fish, which came another hour later, and expected me to eat cold sides. At that point, we asked for the manager. After trying to understand how this was ok, the manager agreed to take off the side. So, now, it's time to pay. How about the ticket had my original meal, my friend's meal, added fish, AND an added side on it. Another 30 minutes trying to understand how that was possible, especially since the waitress first said I didn't order the meal. I really hope this place goes back to its original vibe.

The oysters were very disappointing!!! They had so much shell in them i could hardly eat them. The fried oysters made me gagg LITERALLY!!!!!!! And on top of the food being disgusting we waited a hour for it! The girl at the bar was the best part of the night she had great service! I even herd one girl tell people that had been seated and waited over a hour that the kitchen had completely stopped taking food orders and there was nothing she could do to compensate them for their time! If anyone decides to visit this place go early or on a week day when they are less busy!!!

Had to wait 20 mins for a table for a party of 2. Okay, No big deal. Once seated, was told food will be at least an hour wait. They were out of most of the drinks on the menu. So ended up getting a drink I didnt really want, but was good nonetheless. Ordered food ASAP since it’d be an hour wait. It really took almost an hour. Once thr food came, was told one of the items they didnt have. (I ordered crab rice. They just bought me out plain white rice ??) They did offer to replace the plain white rice with something else, which I guess was okay. The salmon I ordered was the driest salmon I ever had. I actually started an argument with my friend because ai thought it was a chicken breast. Just awful. This plce has gone down badd. Used to have exceptional food and a decent atmosphere. Now it’s terrible food. Average service, and an average atmosphere. NO REASON for m to return. So I wont.
