Such a great spot to work! I ventured out of my apartment recently on the hunt for a nice spot to work at for a few hours and stumbled upon Urban Grind on Yelp. Black-owned and operated, this cozy spot is definitely a new favorite of mine. Upon arrival, I was so lucky to grab a parking spot right outside of the cafe for an hourly fee. This was my first time visiting although it's a 9min drive from my home. I parked on the side by the dry cleaners because there was free parking. I was greater as soon as I walked in. The decor is very dark academia with the wood and velvet seating. My breakfast sandwich was just okay. My order came out pretty fast. I'll probably just grab a pastry next time, but I'll definitely be back to try the seasonal coffees.
