“This was our first time attending a murder mystery dinner theater. I think that the actors and the show itself was extremely well done. However the hotel chosen for the show may not have been the appropriate venue. Their food was mediocre conference room food and their waitstaff was far below standards that you’d find at Waffle House next door. Drinks offered were to be water, tea and coffee. I was rudely informed that there was no coffee available. I would go to another Dinner Detective show again and even invite friends but if it was held someplace else.“
“Loved our server! She was great especially being one of the 2-3 servers that they had that morning. She was nice, energetic and timely. On the other hand, our food was cold and I mean no steam and not hot to touch. Everyone's plate came out at different times and they were all cold. I ordered the catfish and Mac and cheese. The catfish tasted fishy with no seasoning, just breading and the mac and cheese wasn't cheesy at all and had too much garlic powder in it, so ended up not finishing it, even though we were drinking. I got 2 free mimosas for my birthday which was so nice! Atmosphere was nice and clean. Over all I would give it a 6/10.“
“Loved it. Pretty easy to locate. I would suggest sneaking in your own food and/or drinks because they charge you a $75 hold in addition to whatever else you purchase to eat, which was a lot. But other than that it’s a great date night place everyone was super friendly and helpful. It was really comfortable in the seats but they were filled with food which we didn’t notice til the end. I think for the price they charge they definitely need to have everything clean and disinfected after every movie. But we had a great time nonetheless.“
“Lips is definitely a place to check out. Went with some girlfriends for one of their birthdays. The service isn't great because your server is in the show, but it is a fun experience. I was pleasantly surprised the food was as good as it was. The mimosas and bloody mary's are bottomless but extremely weak.“
