“I never give 5 stars but this place has been so consistently good over the years that I have to give them their props. Never a bad meal. Never a bad service. Not once have I left disappointed. Well... There was that one time they ran out of fried green tomatoes ... But that's it. My faves included the breakfast enchiladas and chefs omelette. For sides, the aforementioned tomatoes (try it with the Lemon Pig table sauce, sooo good) and salmon croquettes which tastes JUST like my mom's. The menu is a combo of truly unique and tried and true so it's a crowd pleaser. It gets really busy on the weekend. They run specials like this local trout plate (cooked 1 of 3) ways with a side and biscuit or cornbread. A whole fresh trout. I had mine blackened w grits and a biscuit (ask for lemon wedges). “As always, La Grotta remains one of the best Italian restaurants around. The atmosphere is classy, so please dress accordingly, as people go for both the atmosphere as well as the food/vino. The super tuscan vino is great if you are looking for a new wine to try, you can order a glass or the bottle (I recommend bottle if there are 3+ in your party it ends up being cheaper than individual glasses). The sacchetti as well as the pappardelle are both wonderful dishes. The gnocchi is cooked perfectly if you are a gnocchi fan.”

“Located in Home Park we happy to see that the location was not difficult to get to. There was a parking garage around the corner however there is complimentary valet service which is always a relief. The dining room has several rooms with different views my husband and I were sat in a room full of windows which was nice. My husband and I were in for our anniversary and decided to try one of the new Michelin recommended restaurants. We came for a 5:30 reservation and left close to 8:15. The service was decent however there was several times that we said " ummmmm where is our waitress?" But I think the staff does a good job of working as a team. We started off with some drinks I got the Miller Time ( a nice light and refreshing gin cocktail) and my husband got a beer. We were very impressed with the beer menu they had lots of our favorites and was certainly a nice treat for him. For starters we had the hush puppies ( cooked well, with a chutney on top and a nice creamy sauce underneath), The Farm Baked Egg( a staple to the restaurant, deliciously creamy with outstanding sourdough toast) and, the Local Lettuce Salad( I really loved how the ingredients were the star of the show with this salad. It was by no means underdressed but it was well balanced enough that you could enjoy all of the in season veggies), for dinner I had the Pork schnitzel( I was a little disappointed by this one the sauce was unlike any I have ever had and was heavy on the citrus while the collards were difficult to eat because they were so tough, the pork itself was pretty standard although, I had always thought schnitzel was supposed to be pretty thin this was not. The dish was highly recommended but I think it just wasn't for me) my husband had the duck leg ( which was cooked very nicely and he was very satisfied with the overall dish) for dessert we were gifted some glasses of Prosecco ( very sweet to include for our anniversary) to go with the vanilla cake( very moist and was paired with island flavors), the lemon bar( pleasantly bright with a raspberry sorbet and grapefruit mouse. I loved everything about this dish there was so many bright puckery flavors but it was not overwhelming.) and, the Dessert cheese course( lovely selection on cheeses the only thing that was off to me is the strawberries were not sweet at all.... It was a little sad). I also ordered a cappuccino which unfortunately had no foam on top paired with their hazelnut liquor which was very good. All in all it was a good experience.”

“The times that I've come to Viñedo I usually order a Polar beer and one of their stuffed arepas which are very good. I wish they served the Polar one degree above freezing point to make it a full Venezuelan experience. Convenient parking is available on an adjacent lot.Parking: There is a very convenient public parking lot right next to the restaurant.”

“The space is very small and parking is limited, however everything is made up with the atmosphere and food quality. When I entered the establishment, it was very quick to get me seated (the days i been.) and I was able to soak in the atmosphere. The music choices is very diverse and it keeps the bibe going. They have a decorated bar and they have it centered and you are clearly able to see the drink choices.Food was amazing and tasted every single bite. The food was balanced and no flavor was dominating the other. I ordered the Etoufee bowl with shrimp as my protein. I enjoyed the girl shrimp and the bowl did everything it needed to do and it was on the first bite that I knew i needed to come back. Moreover, I tried their mac n cheese with crawfish, when I took a bite… I was amazed on how creamy the mac n cheese was. It tasted amazing when I took a bite with the crawfish and made me want to order more.I took some of my mac n cheese to go since I was full and the reheating in the microwave did not lose the creaminess nor flavor which is amazing!Vegetarian options: They had vegan options and it was plenty for vegans to enjoy!Parking: The parking option is small, but still enough to get people parked.”

“I hardly write reviews, but had to give a huge shoutout to our favorite sushi spot in Atlanta for their incredible service last night. I’m gluten free and 4 months pregnant so with those two things combined most sushi places would be off limits but not Eight! Our server took the time to walk me through everything on the menu I could still order and even things off menu they could make for me. We landed on the king crab nigiri and off menu avocado shrimp roll with gluten free soy sauce. Both items were fantastic. Our sweet server even brought out this adorable congratulatory dessert at the end! Thanks for another great meal Eight!”

We went in for my mom’s birthday and had the most incredible experience which ended up being the highlight of the night. “I came here in celebration of my boyfriend's birthday, and it is fair to say that this is one of Atlanta's most stunning restaurants. From the moment you drive up to valet and step foot into the Hyatt Regency hotel the level of service was upscale and top of the line & noticeably consistent amongst all of the staff. They all made my boyfriend feel so special and acknowledged for his birthday. I LOVED the hospitality from our server she was very vibrant and even offered to take our photos without us even having to ask which was a major plus! The food was very flavorful. I ordered the Polaris Steak Oscar the portion size was fairly small but everything was delicious and complimented everything on the plate very well. Due to the portion size I ranked my meal a 8/10. My boyfriend ordered the Steelhead Trout which was also very delicious but he only liked the trout everything else on the plate he wasn't too impressed with he ranked it a 7/10. As a complimentary birthday freebie they offered my bf 3 options either a free dessert of his choice, a free shot of alcohol or a free glass of champagne. He went with the free glass of champagne! Something extremely unique about this restaurant is that it rotates while you're eating and offers breathtaking 360 degrees views of the city. Such an exciting fun touch to dining here unlike any restaurant I've eaten at in Atlanta. I also liked how the seating was very intimate and romantic it was our table and one other table next to ours which was perfect for the romantic birthday dinner I was going for. Pricing here was inexpensive, and overall I would rate this restaurant with 5 stars ?”

Our menu included jollof with veggies, spring rolls, plantains, meatpies, grilled chicken, tomato goat stew, beef suya, and egusi! We barely had leftovers and all the guests raved how flavorful, tender, hot, and delicious the food was to honor my husband’s culture. It was a joy to see folks who never had this food going back for seconds and even grabbing to-go containers.The communication was impeccable and the chef accommodated special requests for food preparation to use traditional ingredients. “We just had a wonderful WaHo experience. I was raised on cheese eggs and bacon from Waffle House, so I don't expect great service, excellent food, and clean bathrooms, but I still love it here. But THIS Waffle House bathroom is clean and Mr. Walter knows what he's doing with the bacon. Miss Ericka was our server and she took care of our family of six, including two toddlers without even breaking a sweat. Excellent all around. Thank you!!!”

“I came in on 04/09 around 10:20 there was only one cook and one server (dark skin queen with really good hairdo) he was taking to Go orders had a party of 11 and another party of 6 people ! He was doing all of this with a smile and being super nice ! Even though people were not willing to wait . He did ever he could to keep them. All the guest in the dining area were happy and the server and the cook did everything to get the food out fast as possible and to make everyone happy! “We were staying a few days in Atlanta and walked to this little coffee shop. It had been highly recommended to us by our good friends. We took our dogs and sat on the patio. I ordered a vegan biscuit and vegan sausage. A smiling gentleman brought it out, and he had given us an extra vegan, blueberry scone. Everything about this little coffee shop was so welcoming and warm. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend it.”

She offered refills on our waters when she saw it was low, she didn't have a problem adding another item on our tab when we was eating, and she presented us that beautiful cheesecake. I stopped and asked my mom something and made a face. Although it didn't retain to the food, she rushed over and asked if everyrhing was okay and if it was nasty. Shes a great employee here, and made our first experience lovely.”

“So we came here for brunch a couple weeks ago, a girls day out. We started with the shrimp, crispy and perfectly seasoned with a wonderful sauce that balanced sweet and spicy flavors just right. Let me tell you the pancakes were so amazing we dreamed about them and returned to make sure they were not a fluke, and fam they did not disappoint. These pancakes are so light and fluffy. They come with a caramel syrup, and a whipped orange mascarpone with fresh fruit. Amazing doesn’t even cover it. I also had the crab cake Benedict, they know how to properly poach an egg it was warm and liquid, perfect. Service was great both times. The kitchen was clean and because this is a little known gem there wasn’t a wait. Plus they offer valet and validate self parking.”

The new management/owners and cashiers are VERY RUDE, NASTY ATTITUDES, SMART MOUTHS and openly will ignore you. I watched SEVERAL orders that were placed after mine come out and after 35 minutes of being rudely ignored, I asked for my money back. At Brush you get a more chill vibe and can get as little or as much information you want to the meal. I would also say that Brush is much less overbearing on the rules than either Mujo and Hiyakawa which was very nice.The quality of the fish and dishes were amazing. All things considered I think Brush my be the best overall place (accounting for price, comfort and experience).The only draw back of the omakase experience for me is the the space in not an intimate as the other spots I have mentioned. When I arrived with my husband the restaurant was at about half capacity. We were promptly seated at a small table near the rear. As the capacity grew, I noticed that 2 additional couples had been seated in the same section at the same type of smaller table. I mention this because, the only 3 African American couples in the restaurant were seated near the rear, at these smaller tables, while other couples were seated at larger tables near the rear or at tables closer to the front of the restaurant. Maybe this was a huge coincidence, but none the less I brought this to the attention of the manager, who immediately stated that the restaurant was not racist. I informed her that I was not stating that. The service and food were great, but the optics of the situation did not look good and that they should acknowledge that behavior and correct it in the future.”

I'm going to tell you that the short ribs were crazy good, melt in your mouth barely a need to chew. The lobster fritters were perfectly cooked, beautiful texture and flavor. Wedge salad was so flavorful with the homemade dressing and pappadew peppers- what a new flavor on a traditional salad.My dad and I split the steak for two (porterhouse), cooked to perfection. My mother got an 8 oz strip and she normally gets it cooked well done. She was mowing the steak down and we had two sides of sauce to try- Bernaise and peppercorn. Both were super flavorful and enhanced the steak (truth be told the steak is the star and didn't need sauce)As for sides: creamed spinach and scalloped sweet potatoes (full portions) charred jalapeños creamed corn and roasted mushrooms (half portions). We ate more than we normally would've, but it seemed too good to stop.They were super generous to give both my parents a complimentary dessert since they have back to back bdays in March. My dad took one of each sorbet flavors (mango, pear, strawberry) and my mother did the vanilla bread pudding with cheesecake ice cream. My goodness! After all that food and a bottle of wine, still cleaned the plates! It's unheard of in our family.On the walk out, I noticed Chef Rathbun and he spoke with us for a few minutes. Told him I'd been familiar with his work and watched him and his brother battle on Iron Chef. WF moved the bar down there recently but haven't renovated yet to allow for stools, etc. They do have supply issues sometimes, but I believe that's partly an Allegro issue and partly the difficulty of scheduling deliveries to a high density location. “Amazing the steak was cooked perfect. They only do it at medium rare but it doesn’t matter it’s so good. They had the best fries I’ve ever had. They had some sort of system outage the night we went so we got a drink somewhere and came back. They had our name on a list and got us seated fairly quick after coming back. Super friendly staff as well. FYI it is walk in only. I would personally not go with more than 4 because it is a tight space.”
