Horrible experience! The server was a very rude lady who scolded us a couple of times for making questions about Portuguese food, a cuisine we are not that familiar with! She rushed us to order and was very aggressive! I just left the place because I felt I was paying for being bullied! I even had to tell this lady: if you go to my country and ask for the food, I will be happy to showcase our dishes! The place was empty! Not surprised! Never again! As an immigrant myself, very embarrassed by this type of mistreatment coming from other immigrants!

Emidio's has wonderful homemade Portuguese food at affordable prices. I had not been there in a long time and took a large group there and it was wonderful! The atmosphere is also very nice with options to sit outside. If you are in a hurry or want your food quickly, this is a not a good place, but is great otherwise.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are availableParking: Ample parking available

I called in take out and asked the person that answered what’s best. She told me she could do this salmon in butter lemon caper sauce and damn it was good. Was so delicious and the woman who answered was one of the owners, she was so sweet, it’s a family business and really quality food. Highly recommend

The atmosphere of this restaurant is so warm and inviting! The owners are sisters, and they really make you feel at home. I went with my best friend for her birthday, and the owners gave us free Belgian chocolate mousse cake and sang and danced at the table. They are so incredibly friendly! I would go back just for their company alone, but the food is incredible too! It's all very authentic and high quality. I highly recommend the Camarones Al Ajillo. The sauce is the best sauce I've ever had; you'll want to put it on everything else you order. The Steak Pimenta Verde was also really good! If you haven't been here, GO NOW!

Beautiful Portuguese restaurant with great people. All the dishes we tried were good and the Pastie De Nata is heavenly. The owner was explaining how these are freshly made and they don’t freeze any. I would go back just for those. My friends and I stayed there for a long time, they even closed the restaurant but they made us comfortable and let us stay at the patio dining after closing.

I went to Portugal and just had to have this dessert when I got back home. Well this restaurant makes them. They were delicious. Not as flakey as the original in Portugal but the custard is just as good. Glad I found them. If you only want the dessert call ahead. The owner makes them ready to eat.

My wife and I once again had an unpleasant time at this restaurant. For the third time we went to this restaurant, reserved a table five before and ordered the dish for the day: BACALHAU BRAZ. And….after 30 minutes of sitting and drinking water, the waitress tells us that the codfish could not be served because it was not desalted. Surprisingly, the third time this has happened to us, we are persistent with cod. The head chef didn't hesitate to apologize or even the manager, or is there a manager? We were celebrating 39 years of marriage, but that didn't shake us. The waitress was very kind, but the staff in general don't seem to care about their customers, now a former customer. I think this restaurant should close its doors.Parking: None

Hidden treasure! Portuguese owners. Joe is the chef and wife Maria is hostess and sometimes waitress. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. White table cloth but casual. Unfortunately not enough business, but that makes it nice for conversation. The menu is small but varied. We have especially enjoyed the veal dishes. Ask Maria if she has baked her special dessert. lndoor and out are available on pleasant days. Portions are not large, but all in all a good value. We highly recommend Emidios. Go before too many others find it. Oliver Porter

I would like to give this restaurant - 5 stars, but is not the option here.Yesterday, we celebrated ours two wonderful ladies birthdays. Party of 30 people, was confirmed with the owner. Party was set up to began at 8pm. The only server for our party {sister of the owner) she somehow forget to asked what we would like to drink. She went straight to ordering a food. We have to asked for the drink menu. We had to constantly ask for our drinks. We had to go to the bar to ask for water refill. We have to call the waitress that we would like to have a drink. Only people who constantly called her, got drinks. Bourbon & Ginger was Ginger with a Splash of Bourbon. The price was high - even in downtown of Atlanta is less money for a proper Bourbon & Ginger! The waitress attitude was kind of direct. We got a lots of bead and butter! Finally, after of 2 hours waiting, our food came from the kitchen where was only one cook - owner, at least some of the food was good. This restaurant doesn't have a website.

We were there for lunch. I ordered the salmon and my wife the chicken stroganoff. Both were delicious. All lunch items were very reasonably priced. Like all restaurants now they are trying to keep going with staffing issues. Please go there. The food is fantastic and cooked fresh.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The food and the environment were both amazing! Maria made some recommendations for dinner as we had never dined there before and I’ll admit she did not disappoint! The hostess was also very pleasant and provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend this location!

I use to love this place. This experience was not joyful. 6 tables sat with total 24 people in the restaurant. They brought us bread 2x and we finished our bottle of wine before our Ceasar salad with a splash of dressing and a sprinkle of store bought Parmesan cheese (so yes we had some left after splitting) even came to our table. Our app was delicious with chorizo and shrimp but delivered same time as our salad - 14 minutes after ordering. The main course arrives. My steak 2 degrees cooked more than ordered. My friend finishes his dinner before my meal arrives. When it does, I can’t even cut the steak. I tried so hard a piece flung in to the table. I put it back on the plate along with the silverware and asked the server for the check. The owner saw the full plate go back and came to our table for feedback. 2 servers a manger and 2 cooks for 6 tables should have been easily manageable considering they had space for 150 people seated. They could not keep up with service saying “the kitchen is slammed”. I paid for my meal even though I did not eat it and it was not worth taking home to even feed to my dog.

Don't walk, run to this restaurant! It is sooooo good! I went for lunch and had an amazing time. One of the owners, Maria, was there to serve and cook our food. She's incredibly hospitable and creates a very comfortable family ambiance. I ordered the Steak Francesinha, which was amazing. It resembled the ones I've had in Lisbon! Maria then offered espresso and pastel de nata. Oh my goodness. The pastel de nata was so scrumptious, I could hardly wait for it to cool down before taking a bite! This place is worth checking out if you're in the area! Best Portuguese food I've had stateside!!!

The female owner is racist and rude. We have dined in this restaurant multiple times, but the past couple times her true colors really showed. All of her Caucasian customers get first class service, but when it came to seating us, her tone and speed of service were definitely different! The food is tremendous, but who wants to support a restaurant that clearly doesn't want you there. Next! Oh, and they need help badly, so that's probably why she's mad!
