Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. We were greeted with a warm welcome on a very slow day. Server was very tentative and engaging with my 6YO. I had the catfish dinner. Nice atmosphere! Good and attentive service! Food was good although I wish I ordered more sides because the portions are smaller than what I'm used to when I go to restaurants these days.

My uncle visiting from out of town wanted soul food for dinner but didn't want to drive too far. This restaurant was nearby us with great reviews. The food did NOT disappoint, everything is cooked freshly, delicious and worth the wait. Magic Soul Food's staff was professional and friendly - the chef even stopped by our table before we left. My teenage daughter is a picky eater, she ate ALL of her entree and most of my sides. Looking forward to our next visit!
