This review speaks only to the beef empanadas...and they were hands down the best I have ever had. I ordered chicken but they only had beef. Fine. I was determined to get a snack so beef would have to do. I sat down in the crowded HOT food court with a man and his grandson who were friendly and started to wait. It took about 10-12 minutes and my number was called. The empanadas were piping hot (3 for about $7.50) and were draining on a paper towel inside the styrofoam container....read full review
La Norteña is located inside Plaza Fiesta food court, main menu is Mexican food, but, I have been here several times mostly for the side "Arepa Bar" that have a limited menu of Venezuelan food, my favorites are the white cheese and shredded beef empanadas.

Came here last night after reading about it in a well known local online food publication. The chicken flautas were highlighted in the article, so I just had to try them. Tacos La Nortena is in the main Plaza Fiesta food court. Lots of free parking is available surrounding the always busy Plaza Fiesta.
