Placed an online order and waited 30 minutes past the time it was supose to be ready. It was an açaí bowl, and was sitting on the counter the whole time…. By the time I got it, it was COMPLETELY liquid. Waste of time and money.

FIRE THE STAFF! The ENTIRE STAFF! They are running your business into the ground. Why are people having to mention the girl with the locs so many times? She is exactly as she has been described in other reviews. I just encountered her and she is destroying this business with her horrible attitude, service and demeanor. Another male employee cursed us out after simply asking for the chia seeds to be added to the chia banana boost smoothie once I realized that he left them out. He literally threw a tantrum and started pacing around the store. It was horrifying to see him get angry because he left out critical ingredients for the smoothie. I’m not sure if he was embarrassed because he could not read and comprehend the smoothie instructions, but WOW! This is not a hard job but your employees are acting as if they have been tasked with fighting a war on customers! Please use proper discernment when hiring and stop picking up trash off of the curb!

There were two women working the night I went. One had Locs and the other had curls. The one with Locs starred at me as I walked up and didn’t say anything. No welcome in, no hi, or anything welcoming. The one with curls was busy doing something. The one with locs put a smoothie in the machine and walked away. (Not my smoothie though) There was only one customer in the building and I placed my order online. But the girl with locs never spoke to me the entire time I was there and after like two or three mins the girl with curls turned around and said oh hey and asked if I was placing or picking up. I said picking up. My sandwich was ready but my smoothie wasn’t (not even trippin bout the time). I placed the order 15mins prior to walking in. The one with locs seemed visibly upset at someone she was “on the phone” with and was speaking to the girl with curls in an unpleasant way. I honestly will never be back. My sandwich wasnt made how I placed it either and will let everyone I know to go to smoothie king or maybe another location cause the on on Bolton doesn’t practice customer service. But the girl with curls was helpful. She made the smoothie right then and there and seemed very nice. Give her a raise. She the light inside the darkness. I could have been a critic or a foodie. Thank God I wasn’t.

If I had extra hands I’d give them some more thumbs down - the two young ladies in there are just… I don’t have the energy to spaz, so I’m gonna eat this sandwich and drink this incorrectly made smoothie on this beautiful Christmas Eve afternoon.

The staff here are horrible! The atmosphere and service was not friendly at all. I asked for the Santa Fe Chicken Dilla and I got mostly cheese, no vegetables, and some chicken. The cashier had headphones in her ears and was very rude. Would not recommend coming to this location. ??

Beware... Ordering through the app means it is delivered through Door Dash, and if your order doesn't arrive (which the franchise owner says happens "all the time"), they will not refund you the fees or your tip for the delivery. I called the night it happened, and was told by the corporate office that I'd be getting a full refund. Two weeks passed and that never came, so I filled out the contact form on their website, and the franchise owner called me this afternoon. He just blamed Door Dash, he was argumentative and irritable, and eventually told me he'd give me a refund, but then ended up only refunding me the cost of the food that wasn't delivered (even though their corporate office told me I'd be getting a full refund). He kept telling me I should call Door Dash and complain, but I don't even have a Door Dash account. I didn't pay Door Dash, I paid Tropical Smoothie Cafe. So now those fees and the tip (that was based on a total cost of food which I did not receive) are my loss. Seems like if you order for delivery... and then you don't get the delivery... you should get that money back, right? Not from this franchise. They blame their vendor/business partner (Door Dash) and you're just out of luck. So the owner himself says that they have issues with Door Dash all the time, but because you're not ordering from Door Dash, this guy is who you have to go through if your order is wrong... I'd recommend going elsewhere.

If I could give a review of a minus 100, I would. I went to the location at 2275 Marietta and ordered a smoothie. After I paid, I turned to walk out only to see a health grade of "C" posted on the wall by the Georgia Department of Heath. I then turned around and asked for a refund of my money. It is unbelievable that a business that serves the public by providing food, beverages, etc., would jeopardize a customer's health by giving them a product that was produced in an unclean atmosphere. BEWARE!! Take control of your own health and stay vigilant!

I would give a zero if I could!!! Terrible service. Rude customer service. Not sanitary at all. Waiting 15 minute for a smoothie and when i asked about it the lady said didn't you hear me ask about this smoothie with an attitude. I watched them make the smoothie with no gloves and constantly touch their face the whole time. Dropped a top and then placed the dropped top on my smoothie. I'll never go back. I saw the C rating after I ordered, wished I would have checked it before placing my order! SMH

This ain't it...staff is inattentive, they have a health inspection grade of 75 C, I don't know where to begin... I ordered my smoothie and paid (also left a tip), expected it to come in the regular size cup only to find the staff member poring my smoothie in THREE kid size cups LMAO! They could've told me before I ordered AND TIPPED. I asked for a refund and it took the other staff member 10mins to figure out how to refund, probably wouldn't have taken as long if she wasn't on the phone with what sounded like the GM/Owner, who was checking in on his staff like children and reprimanding another staff member for being in the store "off schedule". Kinda mad me sad for her because she was the only staffer (out of the 3 others) actually working. I got a refund but not a full one because she didn't know how to give me the tip on refund so she gave me cash out of the drawer. :( And this wasn't my first time going here! My first time going in one staff member had her children in the store locking the doors for there own entertainment LMAO! AVIOD THIS PLACE LIKE COVID-19!

I came in here yesterday and had a really bad experience. I completed a survey and also a Yelp review. I did receive a call from the manager Chef. He walked thru the entire experience with me and really took the time to listen to my concern. He then shared some things with me that provided context and a different perspective. I appreciate you! He offered me a complimentary smoothie and food item if I would come back and give them a second chance at that first impression. I obliged and they knocked it our the park! I was greeted upon entry, the store is immaculately clean, the atmosphere and attitude are totally different. It's night and day. Chef is leading by example here. You can tell. Keep it up y'all. I can't wait to come back.

My daughter has worked for this man for a week until he fired her for doing what the mgr on duty told her to do. Now he is refusing to pay her for a weeks work and by the way she is a MINOR. My daughter contacted him about her pay and he dropped a few f bombs on her. I have tried contacting him and he did the same to me and then blocked my number. Found out he has done this to several kids just trying to earn some cash. Please do not support this business if he is going to hire MINORS and then not pay them for their work hours.
