Loved it. Been meaning to check this place out for a while and it didn't disappoint. It's low lit and no frills but the vibe works. It was packed at 8pm on a Friday night so we grabbed the last free seats at the bar. Ordered the southern snack tray and while the pimento cheese was fab, I wasn't a huge fan of the rest of it. Ok, but wow!! I definitely hoped this place would be good, but it exceeded expectations. It's a neighborhood gem. Cozy, welcoming, and memorable. Big portions - great place to share dishes. The prime rib was massive, could definitely have shared that as well. We got the creamy field peas, prime rib, and arugula salad. Everything was excellent and wowed us. I was expecting a sports bar but when I walked in I was blown away. The vibe is chill and low key. The bartender was very informative and patient as he explained the menu. I wasn't too hungry just came a quick bite but the salad I had was delicious. I look forward to going back for dinner one night soon!
