We loved the chicken and halibut dishes as well as the oyster Rockefeller . Everything cooked to perfection; however I did not care for the pea soup and crab . Next time will get the okra fried The strawberry Sorbet was nice touch and was free because of anniversary! This restaurant is great for a special occasion .“

“After work I decided to give Captain D a go. Got the three fish meal with french fries. It didn't disappoint it was very hot and good. The only thing is that the fish was a little on the salty side. But other than that it was a very good lunch

“My family and I experienced a wonderful dinner at Carabas on Washington Road in Augusta, GA this week. Not only was the food fantastic but so was our waiter, Kahleel. We can not say enough about how polite, attentitive and professional he was. He gave us the inpression that he enjoyed serving us. There are very, very few restaurant's in the area that have employees who have given us the service in which Kahleel did. My family and I would like his management to commend him on a job well done! “Fantastic meal, starting with the escargot and polipo with nicely toasted thinly sliced crusty bread. The escargot were so sumptuous and perfectly hot and tasty. The polipo went well with the appetizer and was very tender. It only lacked small forks to assist with eating them. A side salad was delivered that was perfectly seasoned and the creamy Italian dressing tasted freshly made. Our entree consisted of eggplant Parmesan for me and Frutti di Mare pasta of both shrimp and polipo (Scampi Style) for him. The eggplant Parmesan was delicious. It really could have been warmer and was not piping hot. It will reheat well tomorrow though! Additional sauce would also be good. Pasta was perfectly seasoned and the requested addition of red pepper flakes topped it off nicely. So __ Much __ food! Finished it off with tiramisu and coffee. Best Italian meal in the Greater CSRA that we’ve had since moving here three years ago. Prices are extremely reasonable and service was very attentive and helpful.“

“My son and I went to the Washington Road location to eat and talk, where I was explaining to him how what we do affects others, some directly and some indirectly, when Ms. Tay served us our orders, she reiterated my point exactly without even knowing it… She was friendly and courteous, was attentive to all the diners and displayed great attitude, she even spoke some wisdom to my son!! The restaurant’s drive through was extremely busy Friday evening, Ms. Tay didn’t miss a beat, she had her headset on her head and still was attentive to the customers in the dining area!!! “I got the 10 piece Mild Lemon Pepper Wings combo and it came with fries and a drink. It was 10.99 and I'd say it was worth it. They give you a lot and the wings were amazing. Full of flavor !!The place is in a weird part of town, but it's worth it. The atmosphere was a little strange and the workers were talking on the phone with friends, but they were sweet and helped give me good recommendations.“

“One may have to wait for their food but I believe it's because they make it to order so it comes out hot and NOT cold (which I like). Food was good; however, one gets small portions for its sides. A lot of the sides are an additional charge so make sure you read the menu for up charges because it can surprise you. The staff at the drive through was nice.

Vegetarian options: Most of its sides besides the string beans.

Parking: Parking lot does have pot holes when exiting from the drive through.

Kid-friendliness: Does have a kids menu.“

I had another self-care date at Red Lobster on Walton Way, but unfortunately, this visit wasn’t quite as great as my previous one. The drink wasn’t the best it could have been, and the service was lacking compared to the fantastic experience I had last time with Allison. My waiter didn’t ask any specific questions, so I had to clarify and correct my meal. That being said, I still enjoyed my time and the food, which was on point. I’m giving this review a 4 because my past visit was truly amazing, but I can’t say the same for this one. Coach says stayfocused.✌🏾“
