So happy to know I will NEVER step foot in here again. If you want the joy of knowing what it feels like to be treated like an outsider please come here. We had the pleasure of our waitress serving all the wonderful local guest around us to include her partner. We couldn’t even get our drinks before 20 minutes but hey I guess giving us our side that went with our sandwich made it all better right? Keep in mind, those sandwiches never came out. While 3 tables next to us received everything together before we got anything. After the frustration we decided gas station food or Zaxbys would be better. Then to go just go and blame the kitchen staff for her shortcomings. I’ve had some terrible service in my day but NEVER have I ever received the kind of service that almost says we’d rather not have you here is disgusting. This place was meant to take tourists money to keep it going locally. Caution Tourist, at least I warned you and yes Zaxby’s was way better in blue ridge

The menu looked great, we were excited to find a reuben (my spouse wanted turkey reuben and sweet potato fries). So we ordered but were told that their other location has the fries, not the one in Blue Ridge because they are on the ground level and it's a fire hazzard or something- which didn't make sense because we went to another restaurant literally a block over and they were on the same level and we had fries there. Anyway that was a bummer but had the side salad which was generous, but had a decent amount of funky, old lettuce in it. The soups sounded really good. I was shocked to walk past the kitchen and see the soup containers LINED WITH PLASTIC BAGS. I have no idea why they would do something like that but I certainly didn't want to order the soup and eat plastic. The service is unremarkable. We definitely won't go back there are so many other places with really good food and friendly service!

We ate there @ Canterberry’s yesterday 2/26/24. We are local first timers and had out of town guest. Had tuna on rye w/fruit cup, Rubin on rye w chips, chicken salad on white w/pasta salad. Will definitely 100 % go back. Sandwiches were great!! Will pick some up, take home for dinner sometime. Keep up the good work because so many restaurants are inferior. Murphy Casino restaurant WAS really good top grade, ate there same day and now it is AWFUL!!! Must have a different chef. Won’t go back there.

A very simple atmosphere with very good food! Not a big menu, but good food. We had a BLT on a croissant-really great with crispy bacon, chicken and wild rice soup-the best I’ve ever had, salad with house made tomato dressing-excellent! Every other place in town has their own twist on a basic meal, here you will find it like your grandmother would make it! Reasonable prices as well.

I eat here every time I'm in the mountains. The food is consistently good.. service is good. The tomato basil soup is to die for, and I love a good Ruben. Not always convient parking, but we find a spot and walk and enjoy just shopping until we get there.

Great sandwich and soup spot! Fast great service. I liked they offered half and half options in addition to a half and whole! Place can be a little cramped but definitely a good stop if you are in the mood for a sandwich!

Some of the best soup and sandwiches I've had at a restaurant. Home cooked meal quality ? I had so many happy chemicals running through my brain the whole meal. ?
