“When planning our wedding, we knew we didn’t want a wedding cake. Instead, we opted for two croquembouches (creampuff tower bound by spun caramel). We had one with chocolate filling and the other with vanilla. Finding a bakery that could make one proved to be an arduous task. We called many bakeries before we found Patisserie on Main. While it wasn’t advertised, they said that they’d love to make it for us. Olivia was so helpful with planning and communicating with us. On the day of the wedding, my brother brought both croquembouche to the venue without incident. The looked beautiful on our dessert table and tasted delicious. Our guests loved having them as an alternative to a wedding cake. Our coordinator made sure to save a few of each flavor for us as the rest were happily consumed that evening. Later that weekend, we had the chance to visit the shop and thank the chef directly. We happily tried more of their pastries while we were there and savored each one. We highly recommend Patisserie on Main and found it to be the most delicious bakery we have ever been to yet.”

“What a delightful experience we had from start to finish! The room is lovely, and the seating exceptionally comfy! Our party of 4 ordered a variety of items and loved all of them. Service was beautifully coordinated and timed. We were thrilled with the bottle of wine we shared, which was one recommended for the chef’s menu.”

“If you are looking for TRUE ambiance, not just some manufactured "romance", then Table At The Lake is the place for you. When my eldest son, who was in Florida at the time, asked me to describe it, the best I could come up with on short notice was, "If you could imagine a library filled with colors that are really saturated, with deep greens, bronze, and textures of leather and velvet. Think library of coolness?" There seem to be endless nooks/booths/sitting areas, so it isn't just some restaurant filled with tables. There are lots of different spaces, where you feel alone, but still among people. It's honestly so cozy. The vibe is unlike anything else here at Lake Oconee. The service is so unique to other places here, which is a challenge, because most of our higher end restaurants are owned by Reynolds (and members only), so to have a high caliber wait staff that is unique in it's own way, and still has that "cool" element is "choice". They exude coolness, without having to be forced to. The food is phenomenal! Honestly, there's nothing you could order that you'd regret. Just go. Enough said.”

“I ordered the patty melt and it was delicious. There was a wait in line because the register was being counted down and someone had to sign out. It would be a good idea if the staff would tell customers that they would be right with them. The people behind me in line thought I was the hold up and were getting antsy.”

“I went there on Super Bowl Sunday 2023. I’m flying from Seattle Washington and was driving down to Augusta from Atlanta and stopped in Madison. First time there and I instantly fell in love with the place, the people, and the food. Turkey legs was so good I had to go back for 2nds. If you ever in the area please hit that spot up. It’s definitely worth it.”

“5B Barbecue and Brews located in Greensboro, GA Food: I had the two protein plate including double brisket, fries and chili. I was disappointed they had ran out of the sliced chicken breast. The brisket was so tender and flavorful, I would order this every time! The chili was ok, probably would been better if served hot. The smoked wings were soooo delicious, you must tried these. Ask waiter for some blue cheese however ate most of the wings before he we got it, really didn't need anything added. Honorable mention, the potato salad was actually delicious. Service: You will not find a more friendly, attentive and hard working wait staff. We had a baby in our group and the waitress immediately sat us in a booth away from the live band so not to startled the baby with the loud music. Ambiance: There is room for everyone, groups are welcome, outside patio seating, full bar although I thought it was small for such a large venue. A few more televisions throughout would had been perfect.”

“I’m giving 5 stars because the food is always so good . We’ve been here so many times and the food is always been great . However the last couple times we have been the Service is awful . We where in there Saturday night and the lady that was taking care of us , was short with us , picked up my plate I wasn’t even done with , didn’t even share the specials with us , treated other tables better . Just all around not good to us at all , but I still left her a tip . Sliver moon needs to do better with there servers for the price of the food .”

“This family-owned coffee roasters is a favorite place for locals to go for a cup of coffee, lattes, mochas and more. Jin imports his coffee beans and roasts them on site. Although primarily takeout, this tiny gem has just enough space for for people do sit and visit while they sip, has an upstairs space with a table to work, and recently expanded to have even more room. They offer seasonal specialties as well as teas and iced coffees. We love it!”

“Delicious steaks and seafood. Meats were all outstanding and accoutrements were tasty. Dessert was great and we had great service. They were constantly checking our drinks and offering great suggestions on what to eat and drink. The location is hidden but once inside, it's a friendly, casual layout, perfect for a date or even a large group. I'd recommend reservations on busy weekends or times, but we were there when it wasn't too busy and totally enjoyed ourselves.”

“This is not your average, run-of-the mill Mexican restaurant. The menu is unique and the food is prepared well. We rank this as one of the best Mexican restaurants we have experienced. We stopped in on our way home from Thanksgiving on the beach and wish it were closer to our home!”

“It was several years ago that I was there. I was with my sister who had , had a stroke and my elderly dad. While I tried to manage my tray and my dads, my sister struggled with hers. One of the line servers noticed our situation and came from behind the counter to help. The food was amazing. The customer service was great and very much appreciated. “Surprise, surprise! Who would have thought this little place in Madison Georgia was going to be so good. I was just not expecting this kind of quality. Some other places are hit or miss. This was a hit with me. I will be back. If I could offer any advice, it would be to freshen up the decor and brighten the place up a little. My review is based on the food. “It's a longer wait than other fast food but EVERYTHING IS FRESH. I love all the sauces. you'll probably have to pull around the building and wait a few minutes if you order an Apple turnover but it is worth it.”

“First time for me and it was great! Staff are friendly and service is very good. We were greeted at the door and seated in the restaurant. Menu was impressive and there were many choices to enjoy. Flavors were rich in flavors with an assortment of spicy garnishes. Food was fresh, prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. Definitely will recommend this restaurant.”

“Our first time at The Grill, only our second time at Parkside. This place must be a secret. A nice movie theater and at least 4 restaurants. We picked the Grill as it had a big menu, reasonable prices and we wanted to support a local mom and pop kinda restaurant. It did not disappoint. I had a really great Buffalo Fried Chicken Salad. My wife had the Hamburger steak dinner. Our friends had the Fried Shrimp basket and the grilled pork chop plate. All great, all very reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and nice. Looking forward to going back again. I should mention that we drive over from Eastlake on Sinclair, so about an hour's drive but well worth it to come to a nice theater and a good selection of restaurants. All in the same spot. Make sure you go to the Grill first. Nice people and good food.”
