“Love this restaurant! Service and waiter was amazing! Drinks are unique and so tasty made with Persian spices and truly fantastic! Our waiter was great and everything came out and no hiccups or others waiting for food. He wasn’t hovering, but kept an eye on us and made our experience that much better! The lamb/beef kabobs were delicious as well as the rice we ordered as well as dips and entrees! We’ve been there a few times and service and food is always excellent. As soon as I walked in, the owner welcomed me in and offered a free cup of delicious vegan soup. He later gave me a sample of delicious, strong coffee too! “After a long night of studying, I tried Aviva for the first time. I was immediately greeted by the head chef Kameel, who welcomed me with a smile and offered a complementary cup of delicious hot, hearty Vegetable chowder. Per his recommendation, I ordered a plate of chicken shawarma, cabbage salad with hummus, and eggplant ratatouille over rice. It totaled around $15 with tax and tip. Portions were very generous. Chef Kameel's shawarma was perfectly seasoned; the chicken was never dry or overcooked, and the caramelized onions offered a perfect compliment to the savory chicken. The cabbage salad and hummus were very refreshing and delicious! By far the best was the Eggplant Ratatouille: it was savory, hearty, slightly smoky, and seasoned exceptionally. Chef Kameel's service and cooking are absolutely outstanding, and are absolutely worth a visit!“

“I had the hummus, the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. I had been hoping for some vegan baba ghanoush, but the menu stated that it had yogurt in it. The hummus was much better than your average store bought hummus. It came with pita bread and a few olives, if it had included some cucumber slices and celery sticks it could probably be a meal in itself. The vegan items are not labeled on the menu, but the staff were friendly and answered questions.“

“Returned to Chelo on Easter & had our first look at their new brunch menu. We were very happy that all rice options were available to order since the wraps came with fries - & they were very good fries too. There are entrees as well that fill out the abbreviated menu & include a side of eggs. My salmon-potato patty was delicious. Chicken wrap & Salmon wrap looked good with the fish getting two thumbs up & friend's chicken wrap was made better by an addition of harissa that was requested as a side add on condiment that we had to ask for a number of times before it was delivered- no biggie, but when delicious desserts came well before our requested coffees, we wondered, what was up with that. We eventually determined that the coffee service is something that is handled by only certain employees so that is probably why there was a wait. Chelo has a nice little deck out back for al fresco dining & the inside ambience is as nice during the day as it is at night.“

I watched her cook the chicken breast to order which was nice to see it made fresh. Flavor of the chicken and rice was delicious!! I also ordered a side of Greek fries. I think the fries could be a bit crispier.The lady who took my order and cooked it was very sweet. Place was clean. I am leaving this review in the hopes that Falafel Nation will restore their previous quality and consistency. 2 times in a row the pita has been stale and cold instead of warm and fluffy. You get a fair amount of calamari for the price and it is not overcooked l, as some restaurants tend to do. “Yum! Tucked into a little strip mall, a hidden gem! You can tell it's cooked fresh and the portions are very generous. My husband had the Chicken Kabob Sandwich with a Greek salad and he was so happy. The chicken was piping hot and it was covered in fresh green leaf lettuce with ripe red tomatoes and so much delicious yogurt sauce. I had a Gyro and it also was delicious with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and plenty of tzatziki sauce. We also had the rice, feta and olives and 2 pistachio baklava triangles. Highly recommend.“

“AMAZING STAFF! AMAZING SERVICE!!! I catered from them for the last day of my 4-day wedding and the experience leading up to the day of was smooth and very accommodating! William was great in working with my budget and the items I wanted as well as the timeframe to have the order ready. The morning of, there was some confusion on our end and we hit panic mode calling the restaurant thinking we were missing a whole tray. Lisa was absolutely a God-sent! She looked everywhere and checked with everyone to make sure the trays all left and even then started preparing another tray just in case. She could've easily said we sent it all and we're busy now. Her confidence and helpful nature saved the day! I would recommend working with this location on all your catering orders - they make it so easy and I don't even have to mention - THE FOOD IS A HIT WITH EVERYONE!!!!!“
