“Went there after a long time and were reminded how good the food is. The chicken karahi is the best with the soft afghani naan which is more like bread. The Chana had a unique smoky flavor. The Chapli kabab had a great texture to it and we all love the kabuli pulao. The pink Kashmiri style chai was so good. The service was good the server came by multiple times to check on us. I look forward to come back and considering catering from them.“
“We really enjoy coming here for lunch because it's just so convenient for us since we work nearby. Every item on the menu here is just so tasty, but I have to say my top picks are the Koefta sandwich with fries and the Falafel Platter. And the best part is, the owner is always super friendly and welcoming!“
“This was such a rewarding experience! The Falafels were top tier! Everything tasted so good. I got the Salad mixed with grilled onions and falafel, plus plus plus lol. So Tasty! The employees were welcoming and patient as I tried to decipher what all I wanted.“
“1/21//23. Date night. First time here. Beautiful decor and awesome music. I ordered chicken kabobs with Basmati rice. Hubby ordered beef and chicken kabobs with rice. It was so fresh And well seasoned. Finished with homemade saffron and cardamom ice cream. Must try .“
“Food: AMAZING. We had the tabouli salad, hummus, filet, and beef kabob. I think the hummus could have used more acidity, but luckily the tabouli salad's acidity balanced it out. The kabob with the pesto-like dressing and the beet-crunchy-shallot-yogurt topping on top of the lentils was perfect. The filet is SO GOOD; had a nice crust and moist center; unfortunately the portion of it was small tho. For dessert we got the knahfeh and don't be scared! I was hesitant about the cheese, but the sweet syrup and ice cream nicely balances it out. Service: waiter was nice and gave us good recs; he strongly suggested the knafeh and we were pleasantly surprised. He frequently checked on us and we got to know him personally a lil! Ambiance: stunning. Simple and elegant. Great for a date night. Tips: I thought the hummus and pita ratio was off; so be prepared to order another pita haha.“
“Olomi’s Grill in Johns Creek is a hidden gem for Mediterranean halal food. The Kabuli Puluo is a flavorful delight, combining tender meat with aromatic spices. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff add to the overall dining experience, making it a must-try spot.“
“The menu is awesome. The food is authentic and DELICIOUS! Once you’ve had your food from the grill, go next door to the bakery and sample the baklava and Turkish delights! The customer service is exceptional, and everything is delicious! I will DEFINITELY be back!“
“Matheus was THE best server. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The food was all delicious. Our group will all definitely be back to eat here again.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian app selection was amazing and the vegetable kebabs were delicious“
“We absolutely loved the food, and will be back for that very reason alone. The service was pretty good although a drink and a side never made it to our table and we were charged for the side as well as an extra pita bread that we did not order. Looking forward to returning.“
“It was my second time going to this restaurant and I would like to come back here again and again. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming and hosts are really hospitable. We ordered 3 dishes and they were all delicious. Besides, they treated us with a complementary tea as well as a very good roulette which I recommend u to try.“
“yall that food was sooooooooooooo good and i'm so mad i forgot to take a picture before destroying that plate omg. it's kind of like chipotle for middle eastern/arab food. they give well-sized portions and some yummy pita to go with everything. the meat and rice is well seasoned and the veggies and sauce are super fresh 10/10“
“Absolutely LOVED the food. I had the spicy buffalo shawarma platter with falafel and grape leaves (new for me) and it was INCREDIBLE.First, the place is quite small, but cozy. There is enough seating and I loved the small mom and pop shop vibe that was there. This is a small business and it feels that way too (in a good way). I ordered for pickup and the food was already there waiting for me. Good first impression!I got home and to my surprise it was still steaming hot, which is pretty impressive. They loaded my plate up with shawarma and loved the rice that they had. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, but so flavorful and seasoned. The rice was incredible too, it was also seasoned as well. The falafel were pretty great albeit a bit small, but the grape leaf was pretty interesting. It is an acquired taste that I really really liked, the only thing I can compare it to is a very pungent and somewhat sour roll of rice. It was really really good though and I wish I ordered some more. Portions were great though, I had a ton of chicken and rice and I have leftovers, so no complaints there.Overall, I'll definitely come back again and order some more. Genuinely great food and great staff as well!“
“Halal Guys is a late-night gem! Their chicken, gyros, and falafel platters are a great options, satisfying cravings even in the wee hours. The fact that they're open until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays is a game-changer. I like to order a platter. It comes with your choice of protein, rice, lettuce tomatoes and then you can add onion, green peppers, jalapeños, white sauce and hot sauce. Each bite is a burst of flavor, making it the perfect spot for a tasty, late-night feast. Try the hot sauce with caution! A must-try for those looking for a delicious and convenient dining option during late hours! It's a better option than McDonalds and Taco Bell when you're still hungry but don't want fast food.“
“My wife and I had an amazing experience dining at Nara. This is not the first time we have enjoyed the great food and hospitality at this wonderful restaurant. Tonight’s experience was extra special because of Celine, our hostess, and the opportunity to meet the owner Mr. Rashid. Celine is such a sweet and nice person and took such good care of us. Mr. Rashid is so down-to-earth and polite and shared a bit of his entrepreneurial journey. We look forward to dining there again. Cheers! Dave Chatterjee“
“I recently dined at Mazaj, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was charming, with cozy lighting and tasteful decor that set a relaxed yet elegant tone. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.As for the food, every dish we tried was a culinary delight. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced, showcasing the chef's expertise. I particularly enjoyed the Mix grill, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert menu was equally impressive, and we couldn't resist trying the Kunafe, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal.Overall, I highly recommend Mazaj for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance makes it a standout choice in the area.“
