“Visited during lunch hour right before 3pm. Service was very slow for a mostly empty restaurant on a weekday. Both of us got the grouper meal, which was good quality fish. Might have been a tad overpriced but overall satisfactory meal and would go back if in the area. Octopus did not have much flavor but was cooked correctly.“

“Tio Luchos is one of my new favorite restaurants in the city!! At first glance, it seems like a casual, Peruvian restaurant, but what you’ll quickly discover is the level of artistry in Chef Castillo’s cuisine. Delicate flavors, beautiful presentations, attention to details. Chef stays true to his Peruvian roots and to his southern soul—a juxtaposition reflected in his cuisine.“

“Excellent!! Ordered Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken and Bulgogi. Probably the best fried chicken I have eaten: tender and moist, and I love the way they cut up the chicken, really maximizes the crust to meat ratio. Bulgogi was good and came with more than I had expected: rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, broccoli salad and a single dumpling. All very good, we will be back soon.“

“The menu is very varied, the food is special with a homey flavor (so homemade that the beans have the same seasoning as my mother RIP) and the atmosphere is very familiar. As good Peruvians play their Creole music at lunch time and on special occasions, they have a buffet.Kid-friendliness: Children's menu is good and the atmosphere is family-friendly.“

“Very good fried rice, would recommend. The Lamb Papa Rellena was a little burned, and the Lamb doesn’t really go with the dish. The fried rice had a pretty big portion, which is worth the price. The Huancaina sauce is perfect. Overall, the restaurant is really good, almost authentic to a restaurant from Peru.Kid-friendliness: It doesn’t show on the menu.“

“We used to go to Calle Latina when they were on the Square in Decatur, but this space is something special. We went on a Friday night and one of the best jazz bands I've heard in Atlanta played while we had the most scrumptious meal in a fun, lively atmosphere with the most outstanding service. Everyone who works here is welcoming and kind and on top of their game. The peach margarita was insanely delicious and refreshing. I'm not a fan of drinks where you can barely taste the flavor other than alcohol, and this one was perfection. The appetizers were so tasty, and everyone was super pleased with their meals. And I really love that the portion sizes aren't insane. The restaurant is way more focused on serving quality food with fresh ingredients - it's not about massive portion sizes (although we were definitely full when we left). I am so excited because we can walk to this neighborhood gem (which has an awesome bar, by the way). And we will definitely be going on Friday nights to listen to the fabulous jazz band, have some drinks and a lovely meal.“

“Food was really good. I went with a group on a whim and was not disappointed. It's pretty clear this spot is primarily serving people of the culture, so your best bet is to ask the staff what's good if you want the best. I had the calamari & lomo saltado with egg and was not disappointed.“

“I order on uber eats - best Peruvian food I've tasted in gwinnett County! I'm new to Georgia and it's been hard to find a Peruvian restaurant that's as good as back home (I've tried at least 3 in the Norcross area) and I've found it! Will be ordering again and again! ❤“

“We liked it. Some of the item descriptions were inaccurate or cryptic -- the pollo saltado was not served on mashed potatoes (bummer) nor with ball chicken (thank goodness) -- but everything was very tasty and there were loads of things we want to try.Best meal I've ever had in a Wendy's lol“

“Came to visit this restaurant on a Wednesday for lunch with my friend. I enjoyed my meal, while my friend said hers was overwhelmingly salty. She only had 2 bites out of it.Other than that my food was delicious . The atmosphere is chill and the music is enjoyable. The decoration is lovely and all the Latino/Spanish flags give off a warming welcome feeling to the consumer. This restaurant is nice and clean. Especially the bathroom. It was spotless and they even had little listerine cups for the fresh clean mouth experience after enjoying their food. I thought that was awesome!!. Service lady was ok. You should come and try for yourself. You’ll be delighted. ☺️“

“We came here with a party of 4 for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant is large and is a bit on the loader side but we really enjoyed the fun energy and music. We started with toastones, mussels, and papa a la huancaina. All of which were great! The toastones were nice and crispy. They came with great dipping sauces, personal favorite was the green. The mussels were very light and refreshing. The papas were nice and creamy from the sauce. I liked using some of the green sauce on this dish for a little kick.I got the lomo saltado and it was full of flavor! I would definitely have it again. The service was good and experience was as well. We plan to come back!“
