“Sub Base, in the early 90s, was the absolute best sandwich you could get. Fresh baked bread piled high with all the "fixings". It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to re-visit the place (35 years) and I gotta say... DAMN IF They Don't STILL HAVE A GREAT SANDWICH!! The current owners, for the last 14 years, Not only kept the Sammy the best but they added Dandy Donuts. AND THEY ARE KILLER TOO! Hot and fresh just like the sandwiches. Treat yourself and stop by this iconic spot as soon as you can but get there early. The line moves quick but they close at 3. ENJOY!!“

“I'm surprised this restaurant got an average review. I loved the decor, the cashier was super sweet and helpful, and best of all, the food didn't disappoint. Banhmi's were great and so were the drinks. I tried the Peach Mango Soda Pop and the Passion Fruit Tee, and they both were delicious!“

“I've eaten at every place in the Politan Row except here as this food stand is on the far end. Wish I would have started here first! Tonight I had the pleasure to fill my belly with the pastrami grill. It did not disappoint! Rye was perfect, the meat was perfect, the 1000 island was perfect, the cheese was perfect, the slaw was perfect, and it was grilled to perfection. The two ladies working the dinner service were wonderful to chat with while we talked about my selection. I'm sad that I waited this long to try Zaddy's. “Delicious roast beef sandwich with Italian pasta salad and a Diet Coke today at Reuben’s Deli. A quick google search recommended this place and it was a short walk from our hotel, so off I went! It was 2 pm, so not super busy and easy ordering. Just tell the friendly employees behind the counter what you want and which toppings on your sandwich and they make it fresh. Pasta salad is delightful with a ton of flavor. Place isn’t super clean, my napkins stuck to the table, but the food is worth it!Parking: On a busy downtown Atlanta street. “Great food and drinks. Bourbon slushies and regional cuisine. All delicious. But seating is limited, with close to half of it being outdoors. Parking was a problem as well, as their small lot fills up long before the restaurant does. I had to walk for 5 minutes before and after the meal to where I found a parking spot. Not a big deal on a nice day but on a cold rainy day like the day I was there...it would have been nice to be able to park close by.Parking: Parking was very limited. But there are options in the immediate area. Some more convenient than others.“

“Phil makes the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had. I come WEEKLY and eat here every time. I live 2 hours away and I’ll come out of my way to come here. This is the only place I will eat in Doraville. Go inside and ask phil his recommendation. Dude is a amazing guy and we have grown to be good friends after 10 months of coming here every week. Highly recommend this place to anyone. “Potatoe hash breakfast bowl was so flavorful and well seasoned. Pork was juicy and tender. Potatoes perfectly cooked. Pairs well with the Cinnamon vanilla latte. ? “So I'm feeling like some Ethiopian food while we were in the Decatur area. I do a search and this place has good reviews so we stop in. After seeing the Anthony's Pizza sign, the wife is definitely looking at me like I've gone crazy. That was right up until the lady who took our order brought out our Doro Wat and Gomen Besga. Both were incredibly delicious. They're not shy about the spice either which I loved. She also spent some time chatting with us about her parents who do the cooking and run the restaurant/bar and gave us a sample of her Mother's wine which was pretty good also. We'll definitely be back and maybe one day we'll even try their pizza. :-)“

“I got a sandwich from here last month for the first time. I chose the turkey stack with house chips. Delicious from start to finish ?. This turkey sandwich has cranberry sauce on it also.This is not a thin mediocre sandwich! He knows what he is doing creating this culinary entrees. You have to taste the sandwich for yourself. Everything that is on the sandwich makes it what it is. The house chips definitely hit also. I got my food through Uber Eats my only suggestion is that the chef staples the bag on top. Other restaurants do it that way you know that know one is eating your food while it's being delivered to you.“

“Hip spot with good service. I would call it the best sandwich shop in Atlanta but that’s already their name so it’s a bit redundant. I will say this, I had the Italian Pork sub All The Way and it was incredibly flavorful and fresh. It was not cheap but that is to be expected since the quality of ingredients. “Chicken Salad Chick catered all the food for my mother's memorial service. I called the catering line and the consultant helped me order the appropriate amount of food with a nice variety of flavors for all the different needs of the attendees. They delivered all the food to the venue in plenty of time to set up. The food was delicious and exactly as discussed. The catering process was easy and seamless. We will definitely be using them again.“

The staff is incredibly friendly and courteous. The amount of variety from traditional chicken salad, to spicy, savory, even fruity, is staggering and definitely warrants multiple trips. We ordered bbq pork (#8), regular pork (#9), beef (#14), and combination (#16) sandwiches and all were amazing!!! It’s a bit of a drive but we’ll worth coming here, it’s hidden in a shopping center so people typically miss it but you have to come and check this place out! They also have side dishes as well like egg rolls (they were good) & drinks to go along with your sandwich. “Anna Lees’s Cafe is a favorite stop for my wife and I. The Cafe is open for lunch Monday through Friday 11:30 until 2:00. The menu changes slightly daily to accommodate quiches and soups. I recommend the Rueben sandwich, but be aware that it is not dressed out in Thousand Island dressing. What I like best is the ratio of kraut to meat on this sandwich. Many Reubens have too much meat for my tastes. My wife prefers the pinwheels and the cauliflower or potato soups. The vegetable soup also is consistently very good.“

“This is a great place to get a quick lunch. During peak hours it can get a little busy, but the staff does a great job of keeping the line moving so the wait is never too bad. There's a large selection of soups, sandwiches, etc. and my personal favorite is the side of pesto pasta. The tomatoes are always very fresh and juicy. There is a lot of indoor seating (and some outdoor seating) and since most people take their orders to go, it's never too crowded. There's a large parking lot, but if it's full you can drive around to the side of the shopping center and there are some spots reserved for Breadwinner diners. Overall a great place to eat.“

“Visited 2/24/24Came here for lunch after a grocery shop at DeKalb Farmers Market as it was a sunny day after some days of rain. First time I've been to this location as I like their Inman Park location. I got the Tea Bird and Little Havana sandwiches while my wife got the Tea Bird and the Beast on Yeast, both on gluten free bread. All the sandwiches are awesome. Definitely worth getting two of you're hungry, as they're not huge on their own, but perfect if you're in for some of their beers on tap and just want a nice sized snack sandwich to go with. Outdoor patio was great and it was very nice to have a good meal out in the sun. This is a perfect place for a quick drink or to bring the family for a meal outside. “Go to Subway instead of here. Less items to place on your sub. I didn't get what I ordered after saying it 3 times. Only four items to put on subs, plus you have to pay extra for cheese. Employees had attitudes like you were a bother or they didn't want to be there. Subway is much, much better. JM subs are longer, more expensive and not as filling; less veggies than SUBWAY.“

“We had a great experience here!This Jersey Mike's Subs location is close to Regal Perimeter Pointe, in a strip mall with lots and lots of free parking in the very large parking lot.The store has lots of windows, allowing lots of natural light to stream in during daytime hours. When we were there, the store was clean, including the floor and all of the tables. This is one of the more spacious Jersey Mike's stores, allowing customers to walk through all areas without bumping into the back of other customers' chairs like in other stores. Customers can sit at high top tables with tall chairs inside, or at regular height tables both inside and outside. One of the employees making sandwiches called out a hello to R and I when we walked through the doors. There were three other customers in line ahead of us, and the two employees working the line were fast and efficient, because the both of us were ordering within a couple of minutes. We both wanted #13 on the menu - The Original Italian, which comes with provolone cheese, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni, we ordered one Giant sized sandwich, asking them the cut the bread in half before they make it so we could each have separate sandwiches since we don't agree on what should go on a sandwich.One of the reasons why I like getting Jersey Mike's sandwiches is because I can see them slicing off the meat right after you place your order, and I know the meat's not going to be dried out. Another reason why I like JM's is because they give you a decent amount of meat in their sandwiches. R opted for his sandwich to have lettuce, mustard and onions. I had them make mine Mike's Way, with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, spices, oil and vinegar, and adding mayo and pickles to that mix. The employee finished up by cutting each half of the Giant sandwich yet again before placing our halves in separate bags. NICE! We ate the delicious sandwiches inside the dining area.
