Sub Base, in the early 90s, was the absolute best sandwich you could get. Fresh baked bread piled high with all the "fixings". It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to re-visit the place (35 years) and I gotta say... DAMN IF They Don't STILL HAVE A GREAT SANDWICH!! The donuts here are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. I’m no connoisseur of donuts, in fact I wouldn’t previously have even considered myself to be a fan of donuts at all, but these changed my mind. I think these are considered cake donuts rather than yeast, but I could be way off. Regardless of what type of donut classification they fall under they are 100% delicious!!
