My only complaint is that sometimes they are too busy/packed with people and do not restock items fast enough. I guess that's a good problem for them to have? I just use it as an excuse to try something new in their store.“

“I can’t say enough good things about La Moon in Virginia-Highland! I felt truly welcomed. My server, Shaanika, was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and kind. I started with the Butterfly Kiss cocktail, the garlic green beans, DONT SLEEP ON THE GREEN BEANS, they came highly recommended and I’m so glad I ordered them. So good!!! I also ordered La Moon wings, the ginger fish (incredible) and the lump crab fried rice (great portion! More than enough I brought some home for another dinner! I ended the meal with the La Moon La Mai cocktail, it was my favorite. You can tell they truly cherish their customers, they really spend time with regulars and make you feel special. Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. “The flavors at Phở King are excellent and very authentic to the Vietnamese standard; in my opinion, this spot ranks just behind two other places in Boston but clearly outperforms the rest. The owner is very friendly and cheerful! The iced coffee with condensed milk is also delicious.
However, they serve the noodle in plastic bowls—likely due to local custom—whereas I personally feel that piping-hot dishes like noodle taste better when served in ceramic bowls.
That said, I highly recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a bowl of authentic Vietnamese noodle.“

“I have been here for about 15 years and finally give them a review. Most typical Vietnamese don’t give reviews and I’m one of them ?. We either come back if it’s good or don’t come back if it’s not good. Food is excellent and still the same for past 15 years and the same owners. My favorite is bún chả cá (fish cakes noodles) and bánh canh cua (crab noodles). My husband likes cơm tấm đặc biệt 7 món (7 special combinations broken rice) and bún bò huế (spicy beef noodles). They all are good. They are like home made food and I typically order them on the days that I don’t want to cook. Give them a try and help the owners stay in business.“
