“This is one of my go to coffee shops, despite it being way down in Serenbe, the drive is worth it when I want to experience a lifestyle outside of the norm. Their coffee is tasty and the pesto chicken Panini is amazing. Every time I come to Serenbe, I have to make a stop. You should too!Parking: There isn’t that much parking. Keep in mind Serenbe is a wellness community. Most of the spaces are taken up by golf carts and the remaining spaces for cars in front of the bakery go quickly. Just keep that in mind. You may have to park a street or two away and walk. But that’s the whole point of wellness right?”

“I'm a big fan of supporting local coffee shops vs using big chains. I stopped into this one on my way to Costco in Sharpsburg. Very quaint shop and friendly staff. I ordered a decaf cappuccino with oatmilk, honey, and cinnamon powder ( if you've not tried oatmilk espresso drinks it's a must!). Great espresso prepared by a La Marzococo machine.I bought some house roasted beans to support the shop. I paid $17 and unfortunately, the bag was not sealed all the way.”

Even though she was busy serving several tables she was attentive and brought us everything we asked for. The sushi pieces were a little small for the price but overall pretty good. “We got 2 pizzas and pasta with meat sauce for the kids, they hated it. Didn't even eat it. Husbands shrimp fettuccine was bland and at almost $30 the plate. I had the parm chucken and pasta, it was overpowered with Marana sauce. And pasta was not pasta to me. It was angel hair pasta BUT had the consistency of Chinese noodles. It had odd taste. I didn't eat but 10% of my food. Kids didn't touch theirs and it was over $107. The waitress was just lovely and sweet. Atmosphere was great. But for me, it wasn't good at all. Wish their lemonade were real lemonade but it wasnt. Food was a no for me. Sorry. On to the next restaurant for food critics.Parking: Its in gas station plaza. “The Mustard Seed is legendary!!! The mustard barbecue sauce is rich and delicious. I remember finding their original spot (a hole in the wall- off of Cascade Road). The atmosphere is no frills- basic. I’m so glad Bert or Burt was able to expand as his barbecue speaks for the brand. The chicken and ribs are always perfect—- I just don’t do their sides at all. When family visits, this is where I pick up something and pretend like I cooked it myself. ;) just joking”

My food wasn't ready when I got there, so they asked which car I drove and brought my food out to me while I waited comfortly in my car. “There were very nice people here. We played one of the two billiard tables. A patron advised us that if we inserted five dollars, we'd get a free game, which was kind of him. I used the ATM to pull cash, and the bartender gave me change. She was so nice to us. The beer was very reasonably priced. It felt like we were at a house, a good vibe.”
