Me and my family came here and bought 3 chopped pork sandwiches for 7$, It is to my understanding that these are supposed to come with coleslaw and Pickles. Well we wanted our coleslaw and pickles, just on the side instead of the sandwich. We were told that this wasn't possible and that we would have to pay for extra even though we have had this done once before. Confusing considering we paid for the sandwiches with slaw and pickles. So we just took it all off and paid for 50 cent pickles...

I ordered a Boston butt about 2 weeks ago through the high school Thanksgiving service, I came to pick it up today, a day was told they did not have it and I could come Saturday and pick it up.I asked why they did not have my order as they had over a week. Girl said, we must have miscounted.Was I the only one?No last count we are down 15 pre ordered Boston butts.Bad business miscounting like that. On a Holiday...What I believe happen is the day business was more than expected and they used the pre-ordered to make more profit.I will never any recommend company that barbarians their customers or a company that is inept at counting as they can not be depended on.....There are many bar b ques in Columbus and Phenix City that have great Bar b que, and in my current experiance real customer service that has lasted.Chicken Comers has great everything, as does Sunrise bar b que on river road.I Support well run, traditional honest local businessOf which I can depend on.Mike and Eds bar b que , I find shamefully Undependable, will barbarize there customers when profitable and by their own admission inept.Cant tell you what the food is like, just that I will never give my money to any business with shoddy practices.I do expect to pick up the 3 day delayed order on monday, IF available, only to stop them from reselling it.Mike and Eds bar b que, left a bad taste in my mouth, and I never took a bite.Try a competent company. There are many close by.

Are there not any good BBQ joints in Columbus?!?! I ordered dinner for my family…ribs, mac & cheese, and “BBQ” beans. The ribs were hard and flavorless, the mac & cheese was like glue and flavorless, and the beans were nothing more than unseasoned, canned baked beans with imitation bacon bits added…$60 bucks for that! Come on people…you gotta do better with BBQ in Columbus. Their menu was in our mailbox and we were so excited to support and try…but sadly disappointed. My husband kindly instructed our son to place the menu in the trash.
Love MnE's. Used to eat at the old restaurant off veterans years ago. I'm leaving this review because I want them to succeed and they're slipping on the details at this location. They were reliable when they first opened but now about 50% of the meals I pick up are just ok. Missing sauces, pathetic sandwiches with not enough meat (got a 'big' turkey sandwich with probably two thin slices on it), and overcooked fingers and bbq. Hope this place can tighten up on these details. I'm not picky and I was happy with the good value here, when the food was more consistent. Keep the quality and value high and you'll get my business way more often.
