Kaitlyn, a barista there, welcomed us with smiles and exceptional customer service! It was impressive to watch her, bc she had a line of customers and still kept her smile on while mixing up delicious coffee drinks all on her own! I will definitely be back!“
“My wife and I walked in and felt good vibes right away. We were greeted and told to have a seat anywhere. We sat across from a table of firemen from Covington. Always trust a place where the local first responders go. Other tables had what appeared to be regulars. My wife had a vegetable plate and I had a fried pork chop. The veggies were vintage southern with ham in the beans, etc. Cabbage was about as good as we ever had. The pork chop was lightly fried and tasty. Good iced tea as well. Will be back should we find ourselves in Covington again. Highly recommend.“
“I had a craving for wings and a Philly wanted to try somewhere I hadn't got that before . They didn't disappoint I got the steak Philly with six piece wing and my daughter got the wing with shrimp fried rice they do their rice hibachi style. Also an order of fried mushrooms. The portions ,price and flavors were all good . The sweetest older woman at the front was very personalable and got us taken care of quickly. Overall a good meal“
“The only dining hall I’ve ever been to that the food has actual flavor and is clearly so fresh! You know how dining halls kind of all have the same, taste? (I’ve worked in higher ed for a decade.) This one is stellar, genuinely healthy and fresh, and so tasty. If you’re on campus or in Oxford for some reason, definitely worth a visit for lunch.“
