“This was one of the best Thanksgivings ever thanks to Applewhites Eatery. ALL the food was great! Fried turkey, ribs, salmon, brisket, collards, yams, green beans, brussel sprouts, mac n cheese, carmel cake, sweet potato pie. Every dish was delicious. My only regret is I didn't fix myself or wife a plate for the next day. All the food was gone, immediately! Not a crumb of cake, nothing was left...I would highly recommend this restaurant.“
“I come in here almost everyday. It’s never a miss. The manager is simply amazing and I can tell he leads his team. I always see him assisting with everything down to clearing tables in the dining rooms and at times taking orders. The staff is always pleasant and the food is yummy.Dietary restrictions: Low carb options available.“
“Every time my mother and I visit Trends Urban Cafe, we leave satisfied! There isn't a dish so far that we've tried and not liked! The food is very tasty and flavorful. Some dishes we've enjoyed there are the fried green tomatoes, bourbon collards, cauliflower bites, jerk salmon quesadillas, blackened salmon sandwich with those awesome cilantro parmesan-garlic fries, steak hoagie, and the current running special which includes blackened salmon, curry cauliflower rice with kale, and Naan bread on the side. I may not be using the exact names on the menu, but I can honestly say that each dish was great and left me wanting for more! We're not a vegan, but you couldn't tell the way we enjoy their food! We look forward to our next visit!“
“Now this is a great spot. Great atmosphere, good food, fast service, fair prices, and a great time for all who enter. I will definitely come back and you should stop by too. The only downside I could find is it is a cigar bar so if you don't like smoke you probably wouldn't enjoy as much as I did. I was here for karaoke night (Sunday) and everyone was having a blast. I look forward to my next visit. The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Definitely a much better spot than that awful bar Eastside Station(oh and it doesn't cost 7 effin dollars just to get in). Don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself!“

“Food was delicious. Had the honey garlic shrimp and broccoli sweet potato. Server was nice but forgot a few things and had to be reminded. Other staff was nice as well, helping where they could. Place is small and homey which I loved. The menu is small as well with some items not being served at lunch. Parking is free and mostly street and some had limits on time.“

“This place sits on, or above?, a lake so the atmosphere is calming. They have more than coffee and baked goods, my daughter and I went for lunch. I had a yummy turkey and avocado sandwich served with chips, she had avocado toast with a boiled egg served with cherry tomato halves, and we both had Italian sodas.We sat inside in front of a large picture-window overlooking the lake. Wheelchair accessible. There is an open deck with 4 tables attached to the entrance. There is also a walkway down to the lake with 4 separate chairs to sit in, AND a little further down is another deck overlooking the lake with a few tables and chairs.The lake was brown and muddy looking there were a few ducks swimming around.I do plan to go back…Wheelchair accessibility: The shop is on the second floor of the building with a ramp from the parking lot to the entrance, there is also a ramp inside that goes up one step from the sitting area to the counter and restroom.“
