Will never prepay for takeout again. I came back after 7 mins and I sat down. No one greeted me..they just looked at me and did other tasks.Ppl come in after me and get their food.The lady who took my order prior didn’t speak or tell me my food was sitting on the counter and I tipped her in advance. She looked me in the face … she recognized me. The cook recognized me and brought my food to me.Possibly because I paid first, she turned off the need to serve, which is ok. No one is perfect but never will I tip in advance or pay in advance there again.

At the Waffle House on Hwy 278, Brenda truly stood out as a beacon of outstanding customer service during our visit a few weeks ago. Her warmth and kindness were as comforting as a slice of homemade apple pie. Despite this particular Waffle House not being our absolute favorite, Brenda's dedication and attentiveness made it a close second in our book. From the moment we walked in, she went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable.Brenda's genuine care for her customers was evident throughout our meal. She took the time to engage with us, making us feel not just like patrons, but valued guests. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. It's rare to encounter such exceptional service, and Brenda's efforts truly made a lasting impression.While the ambiance and menu at this Waffle House might not have initially made it our top choice, Brenda's exceptional service elevated the overall experience. It goes to show that sometimes, it's the people who make a place special. We left with smiles on our faces, grateful for Brenda's hospitality. If she continues to provide such outstanding service, there's no doubt that this Waffle House could become our new go-to spot. My 4 year old was absolutely INSISTENT upon having her birthday party at Waffle House this year and the staff here did not disappoint! I didn’t catch the names of any of the staff unfortunately, but they went out of their way to make her feel so special! They put chocolate chips and whipped cream on her waffle and the entire staff stopped what they were doing to sing happy birthday to her. Everyone was so friendly! Thank you so much for making my kids day one to remember ❤️

Extremely disappointing. These people cant even cook good scrambled eggs!! They were mostly standing around talking instead of doing their jobs. My toast wasnt toasted and my eggs were terrible. At least they had enough "skill" to not burn anything.
I am here waiting on a chicken sandwich. I have been here for 40 minutes. The mentally retarded employee added several meals to a customer's ticket and my meal got pushed back. She makes mistakes every time I come here to eat. Is there any way I can find out when she is working so I don't waste my time coming here? Right now I have been here close to an hour. I will never come back here again. The mentally retarded girl needs to be given jobs she knows how to do. I believe in hiring handicapped people but in a busy Waffle House handling orders is not appropriate. This Waffle House never answers their phone so there is no way for me to check if she is working before I come in. When the big, tall, black chief works, the restaurant runs smoothly, otherwise forget about it.

Ok...I know...it's a Waffle House. That said, I had to do a review. This location is different than the many WH locations we have visited across the country. This was an amazing experience. Stepped in the door to a clean establishment. 100 current health grade. The moment through the door we were greeted from across the room from a gentleman I learned was the manager, Jean. Big smile and friendly. Clean, workers smiling, music playing. Actually felt fun and festive. We were sat at our booth and Millie was our waitress. Again, polite, friendly and very attentive. We placed our order and watched the crew. I heard Jean state that he had to leave to go get some cups from another store. Before he left he came to every table, and they were all full, and checked on every customer. Moments later he was gone but unlike so many places these days his staff kept churning with no break in service. He is running a very well oiled, cohesive place. So many times if the manager is gone the service degrades. Not here, excellent team work. The food arrived hot and cooked just as ordered. Actually plated neater than any Waffle House I've ever been in. Overall this was a great experience that I would not normally associate with a Waffle House. This one is doing it right!!!Exit 90, Covington GA area. We will stop in when traveling through and you should too.

Outstanding experience! Management & wait staff went out of their way to make us welcome & accommodate our needs. Food was delightful & made quickly, they put on 2 (!) fresh pots of coffee (regular & decaf) for us. We will be back any time we come this way. Plenty of parking, disability friendly. Hour 9 of a 10.5hr trip, and they gave us just exactly the respite we needed.
