I tried this for the first time because my usual place was closed. Though i wasn't impressed by the way they make Crab Rangoon, I was pleasantly surprised with the Shrimp Egg Foo Young! They make their egg foo young sooooo much better than my usual place, they put the patties underneath tons of this fantastic flavorful thin gravy (more like a sauce) with lots of veggies on on top! "Those who are contented with what they have are often happy." Chinese Proverb I for one am very happy to have Hong Kong Restaurant so close to my crib. Family owned, this small shop does a fantastic job of putting out fast, fresh and fantastic Americanized Chinese food. This place is not fancy. Definitely not for a date or even business lunch. 2/4 11:36 am - This was my first time going to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. I order my 2 favorite dishes (General TSO's and Mongolian Beef) to see if I would go back. Most Chinese restaurants are hit or miss based on management, but I'm very happy to say I would go back. Both dishes (half eaten) were the flavors I've enjoyed from my other favorite Asian restaurants. B+
