We have been here several times and supported local through the pandemic. I am disappointed to have to write this review based on our experience today. The food has always been good with generous portions. We can usually get 2 meals from 1 plate. The employees have always been very polite and professional. I am not sure what changed but today was not what we have been experiencing. The portions were smaller. We ordered plates that normally come with fried rice. We always ask for white rice instead. My son will not eat fried rice and it isn't my favorite thing either. We watch for things like that at Asian restaurants and order accordingly. We got home and instead of the white rice we ordered we had fried rice. I called the restaurant to ask what we could do about this. The person on the phone then proceeded to call me a liar that we got what we ordered. After some time on the phone I finally asked are you willing to fix the error or just continue to call me a liar? She said to come back and she would give me white rice at no charge. I show up to get the rice and she continues to argue with me and show me on the menu that the plates come with fried rice. Yes, I know this which is why my husband asked for white rice. We would not order something we know we do not like. Even as she handed me the white rice she continued to argue with me and try to say we got what we ordered. Very unprofessional. I told her not to worry I would never be back because I do not appreciate being called a liar! I have been in customer service for 15 years! I would never treat someone in the service industry the way she treated me today!

Food was nothing like the picture over paided 16.90 for kung pao chicken was so small and little to any meat was in the plate for the high price next time I'm going to panda express where I get plenty of good meat and sides

Worst Chinese Food Experience in Cumming. I really wanted to like this place but it doesn't hold a candle to Happy Family. Unfortunately HF was closed on Monday so we went to a Hong Kong instead. Our Mongolian Chicken was surprisingly mostly all Onions with hardly any actual meat! Worst part is that it was swimming in sauce like a Soup . Where as the actual soup we ordered- the korean soup was bland and slightly fishy. Our first and last time eating from there for sure. The low mien was decent. Got all three things for about $29. Was not worth it. Go elsewhere for good chinese like Chopsticks or Happy Family.

2/4 11:36 am - This was my first time going to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant. I order my 2 favorite dishes (General TSO's and Mongolian Beef) to see if I would go back. Most Chinese restaurants are hit or miss based on management, but I'm very happy to say I would go back. Both dishes (half eaten) were the flavors I've enjoyed from my other favorite Asian restaurants. B+

I tried this for the first time because my usual place was closed. Though i wasn't impressed by the way they make Crab Rangoon, I was pleasantly surprised with the Shrimp Egg Foo Young! They make their egg foo young sooooo much better than my usual place, they put the patties underneath tons of this fantastic flavorful thin gravy (more like a sauce) with lots of veggies on on top! It is my favorite! I'll be coming back here for my Egg Foo Young from now on. Also loved their beef Lo mein!

I know this place has great reviews, that is why I went. But... I was not impressed. The portions were small, the wait was long, and when there was a mix up with my order. They tried to up charge me even though I had paid the menu price for what I ordered. Fried rice was just, basically, white rice with alot of soy sauce.
