I just had a unbelievably bad experience at the self check out because the lady Jane came over and took our groceries out of the bag we put them in saying this is all the bags we have they didn't come on our truck tonight and I nicely said we'll ma'am I'm not gonna have our stuff ripping out the bottom of the bag cause y'all don't have bags cause she tried to put one of the huge creamers and two regular size coffee creamers in one bag and I could tell if I tried to carry it it was going to rip and all my stuff was going to end up in the parking lot and she completely lost it called me a b**** and that I was calling her a liar which didn't make sense. Then really nasty while cussing at me double bagged it. I've never been treated so unprofessionally in my life . Her name is Jane

Bad experience here with self checkout they seem to racial profile ppl of color I mean watch you like a freaking hawk. And management was of no assistance when I went to make a complaint about the treatment I received which let me know she was leading by example. I will not be given this store any more of my money that's for sure.

Customer service here is horrible when it's given. The only ppl that have manners and that are polite is a young man working in produce. The manager Kelly is complete j*** and basically gives you an attitude if you come to her with a question or concern. Good thing is there's a dozen other Krogers in the area and I can spend my hard earned money else where. CUSTOMER SERVICE ETIQUETTE NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT BEFORE YOU PUT A PERSON IN A POSITION TO HELP PPL. A photo will be added later of the Karen, I mean Kelly.

Let me tell you Racism still exist and especially at this Kroger beginning with front end store Manager named Kelly, an aged red head with yellow teeth that looks like she had her fair share of alcoholic beverages for breakfast. She is completely inappropriate and unprofessional and I'm not even sure how she managed to secure a position as a voice for representing the front end of anything. I had an issue with a cashier and Kelly was called and added to the actual issue not resolving but adding to it, I asked her to call the store manager and Was stunned that she went on to talk about me to the store manager as if I wasn't there listening to her every word. She was not reprimanded nor was the person I had the issue with. They accused me of not ringing up a snickers bar and they were right to do so bc I didn't have a snickers I had a Twix bar which was clearly rung and paid for as seen on my receipt. No apology was given just dirty looks and mumbles under their beer smelling breath. I returned a second time this day and the clerk called another person w clip board to come watch me check out which I'm sure was managers order. A bunch unprofessionals here.

This Kroger doesn't seem as clean or well stocked, I've seen expired food on the shelves multiple times (not marked down). Most recently I had to call to finally get assistance at the seafood counter and the register wouldn't scan my Kroger app to pay. The manager Christy actually took my phone from me to try to scan it, during a pandemic. Still didn't work so I had to use my card and touch the device further. I'm going to avoid this Kroger even though it is the most convenient to my house.

Whichever sushi chef worked this morning.. amazing. I love sushi but I definitely have low expectations from grocery store sushi even though I still eat it all the time. The sushi I had this morning was AMAZING. Keep that man.

If you are having a good day, this place will ruin it. Shameful. No one was working at deli and no one else cared. Veggies are old and look it. This place shouldn't be given a business license

YES, IT'S OUT OF MY WAY BUT... I really like this little Kroger and all it took was one simple head of green leaf lettuce which stayed fresh and beautiful far beyond the norm. It is now my Kroger of choice. Although I live in Alpharetta, I am willing to travel to this location for their selection of fresh organic proteins and vegetables. For additional savings download the app and use the coupons upon checkout. I have grown increasingly frustrated with the look and quality of produce and proteins in the local markets. In order to get decent products, (at reasonable prices), I have had to drive to the Farmer's Market off of 285 and now I have a closer option. Nice!

Giving this location two stars because I went in today to return two unopened dog collars that I bought the wrong size. The older gentleman (John) told me he could not take them back, that I needed to take them to store I purchased them at, and proceeded to slap my receipt down on the counter. I promptly got online to check the company return policy, decided to call the 1-800 number. Where I was told the only exclusion for a store to not take back merchandise is when they do not carry it. I went back in the store matched my products up and proceeded to guest services. Where I waited for about 5 minutes before grabbing a cashier named Zach, who I told I needed a manager. He got a manager up there, Stephanie. She walked up with a disinterested look, as if she hated to have to speak to me. I explained to her what the issue was, she says "Zach will have to do this because I don't know how to run a register." And walked off. Zach was a great cashier and handled the issue he was presented with, and is the only reason for the two stars. Stephanie, as a member of management, should know how to be professional, show apathy and be approachable. Most importantly, she should know how to run a register in a store she's managing.

Not the best place to shop for leafy greens.

Updating my review from December, nothing has changed and I see more people are complaining about their lack of inventory, and quality of merchandise. So are going to Johns Creek, but I have encountered same circumstances in most Krogers. And those Hawaiian rolls, not fresh unless you get them on the day they deliver 50 cases of them. Had a clerk tell me, I would get you some from the back, but they are all frozen and we are awaiting them to thaw? Thaw?

This Kroger is not the best. I have accidentally purchased expired products multiple times because I am not used to having to check the date on every single item. And these are not items marked "Manager's Special", these are full price items on the self. When I shop at this Kroger, I now know I need to look at the expiration date on just about everything before I put it in my cart to ensure it isn't past it's date or close to the expired or sell by date. In addition, I had to start checking the open refrigerator temperatures in the Chicken/Beef fresh meat section. I had some packs of chicken breasts spoil in our refrigerator multiple times before the expiration date. I would open my refrigerator to a horrific smell and have to throw away about $10 of meat twice before I figured out what was happening. We went back to the Kroger and I checked the temperature, it was set to or reading 45 degrees (Should be below 40). I did contact Corporate and it seems the issue was corrected but I still feel the need to check. Customer service did provide a refund/exchange the one time I returned the meat, but who wants to bring rotten meat back to a grocery store? Gross. Inventory is not managed well. On a normal, sunny, no pending disaster, and the bread will almost completely out on a Saturday afternoon or Tuesday morning. I've tried varying the times I go to no avail. I can count on at least a couple essentials being out. The produce is either pathetic (small, soft, rotting on the self, or expired), or limited quantity so you are stuck with the bruised or marked up items at full price. It's a running joke that some cucumbers on the shelf are half-way to pickles. For the most part the staff is wonderfully nice. There is one check out clerk that is horrid but perhaps there is more going on there requiring a little patience and understanding. After a lot of rude exchanges with customers in front of us, and not a word to me, she was in such a rush to get away from the register (someone else was taking over) she ripped my receipt in half and rudely handed it to me. I had to get a manager to reprint our receipt so I had the total and all items (in case I need to return rotten meat again). The inventory and quality situation is totally bizarre because the Kroger just down the road in John's Creek is a completely different experience. I don't know if Kroger's are more independent than I realized but something needs to change at the Sharon Springs Kroger. Until it straightens up, myself and most of my neighbors either go to Publix, or drive past this Kroger to the one a little South in John's Creek.

So tired of this store! I drive past it to the Kroger in Johns Creek down the road. The produce is always sub par. Today I just wanted some lettuce. The three pack Romain was all brown and spoiling. I asked the clerk to go in the back to get some fresh items. He came.back with a box full.of old and brown lettuce. Yuck!. So then I go to the pre-washed and packaged lettuce. Same thing! It was spoiled and leaking there in the package. They knew it was old as it had a "Managers Special" sticker. Sorry... not so special. I walked out furious at myself for wasting my time in this crap store. South Forsyth has a lot of money... why do we have to drive.to Johns Creek to get a decent Kroger.
