Slope's is a beloved bbq tradition in GA for a very good reason. Great food and nice folks. Sadly, the building has been sold and they close their doors on 9/25/21. They will be missed.

This is a local favorite I could tell from the consistent customers coming in. You order from the counter, get your own drink and seat yourself. A bit fast food style but efficient and a savings for everyone I’d guess. The prices are very fair with a sandwich, side and drink for about $9.00 if I recall. The sandwich was the standard bun size but you can buy a larger one for not much more. We ordered the pulled pork deal then a vegetable plate and additional drink. Shared it between the two of us. The sandwich was good and I liked the barbecue sauce. The sides were okay but I don’t believe homemade, I could be wrong, some might be. The fried okra was good but the frozen type. The potato salad seemed store bought. The Mac & cheese is a lot like Kraft and the baked beans were tasty. The garlic toast with the veggie plate was buttery and delicious. My granddaughter visited a different time and loved the jalapeño cheese grits and other sides. This is a good place to go for decent food at a fair price. The staff is quick and friendly. I’d go back even if just to support a local business that’s trying to keep prices down the best they can in this current market.

Decent. But portions have gotten smaller and cost has really gone up. But I understand it's due to supply prices.

The food here is excellent! We've been in search of delicious barbecue since moving up to Georgia, and this is it! The staff was friendly and we got our food rather quickly. The two of us ordered the vegetable plate, and a chopped pork sandwich combo, with two drinks and the total was only $23! The jalapeño cheddar grits are phenomenal. We were stuffed by the time we left. I can't wait to go back and try the blackberry cobbler!

The pork was good but the fried okra was over cooked. The bigger problem is that the prices are not what is on the menu. They raised the prices, which is understandable, but they don't have the updated prices listed anywhere. So you don't have an idea of how much you are going to spend until after you order.
The barbecue sauce is very good and I really enjoyed the Jumbo BBQ Brisket Sandwich- it was tender and flavorful. The people are nice and it seems like a local favorite.

Slope's Bbq in Cumming is always awesome. The people are friendly like family, always trying to make things great. The food is always awesome as well. If you don't like it, they will make it right. I highly recommend Slope's Bbq.
